A ferroelectric/paraelectric multilayer thin film having a high tuning rate of a dielectric constant and small dielectric loss to overcome limitations of a tuning rate of a dielectric constant and dielectric loss of a ferroelectric thin film, a method of forming the same, and a high frequency variable device having the ferroelectric/paraelectric multilayer thin film are provided. The ferroelectric/paraelectric multilayer thin film includes a perovskite ABO3 structure paraelectric seed layer formed on a substrate, and an epitaxial ferroelectric (BaxSr1-x)TiO3 thin film formed on the paraelectric seed layer. The high frequency variable device can realize a RF frequency/phase variable device having a high speed, low power consumption, and low prices and excellent microwaves characteristics.

Provided is a folded dipole antenna including a meander line formed on a photoconductive substrate, characterized by an input impedance of several kΩ, which is much higher than that of a conventional dipole antenna, due to optimization of a horizontal length, a line interval, a width, and a line number of the meander line. Accordingly, use of the folded dipole antenna greatly improves an impedance matching characteristic between the antenna and a photomixer having an output impedance of 10 kΩ or more, and accordingly an output of a THz continuous wave.

Provided are a terahertz wave transmission and reception (Tx/Rx) module package and method of manufacturing the same. The complete and separate terahertz wave Tx/Rx module package is implemented by simply aligning a silicon ball lens, a photoconductive antenna and a focusing lens, and thus facilitates generation or measurement of a terahertz wave. The terahertz wave Tx/Rx module package and method can remarkably reduce time and cost required to build a terahertz wave generation and measurement system, and simplify and miniaturize the terahertz wave generation and measurement system. In addition, characteristics of a terahertz wave generated by the photoconductive antenna can be simply measured. Furthermore, the terahertz wave Tx/Rx module package can be stored and transported with a photoconductive antenna, a silicon ball lens and a focusing lens kept aligned as they are, and also it is possible to minimize pollution of terahertz wave devices caused by surroundings.

Disclosed is a high-temperature superconductor low-pass filter for removing broadband harmonics in a wireless communication system. The high-temperature superconductor low-pass filter includes a coupled line section and a transmission line section, in which the coupled line section is connected in parallel with the transmission line section. The coupled line section has two microstrip open-stub type parallel stripe lines stacked on a high-temperature superconductor, and the transmission line section has one stripe line. Since the high-temperature superconductor low-pass filter has attenuation poles at a stopband, it has stopband characteristics to 7-8 times wider than a cutoff frequency. The high-temperature superconductor low-pass filter can easily remove sub-harmonics which are inevitably occurred in the wireless communication system.
