摘要: A prepreg is provided that has excellent processability and handleability and that can be processed into a cured product with high heat resistance. Also provided is a method to produce such a prepreg in an industrially advantageous way without being restricted by the types and contents of the matrix resin components used. The prepreg includes at least components [A] to [D] as given below and a preliminary reaction product that is a reaction product of the component [B] and the component [C], at least one surface resin in the prepreg having a storage elastic modulus G′ in the range of 1.0×103 to 2.0×108 Pa as measured at a temperature of 40° C. and an angular frequency in the range of 0.06 to 314 rad/s: [A] carbon fiber, [B] epoxy resin comprising a m- or p-aminophenol epoxy resin [b1] and either a glycidyl ether epoxy resin or a glycidyl amine epoxy resin [b2] that has two or more glycidyl groups in a molecule, [C] curing agent, and [D] thermoplastic resin.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide an epoxy resin composition which has excellent viscosity stability, and when cured, can provide a resin cured product which has high flame retardancy and excellent mechanical properties, and a prepreg and fiber-reinforced composite material using the epoxy resin composition. [A]: A reactive diluent having a specific structure and a viscosity of 2 Pa·s or less at 25° C. [B]: An epoxy resin having three of more functional groups. [C]: An amine-based curing agent having a specific structure.

摘要: An embodiment relates to a resin composition containing a tetraglycidyl amine; a bisphenol epoxy; a dicyandiamide; and an aromatic urea; wherein the tetraglycidyl amine has a EEW of 110 g/eq to 140 g/eq and is an amount of 30 to 60 PHR per 100 PHR of total epoxy resin in the resin composition; wherein the resin composition has a Tg of at least 160° C. when cured at 143° C. for 3 min and also maintains a Tg of greater than 160° C. when cured at 177 C for 1 min or longer.

摘要: Provided is an epoxy resin composition for giving a carbon fiber-reinforced composite material that simultaneously achieves tensile strength and compressive strength. An epoxy resin composition containing at least the following constituent elements [A]-[D] wherein the epoxy resin composition contains 5-50 mass % of constituent element [A] and 20-95 mass % of constituent element [B] relative to 100 mass % of total epoxy resin weight. [A]: at least one epoxy resin selected from 1,2-bis(glycidyloxy)benzene, 1,3-bis(glycidyloxy)benzene, 1,4-bis(glycidyloxy)benzene, derivatives of these, and epoxy resins having a structure represented by general formula [1] (in general formula [1], at least one of R1-R5 and at least one of R6-R10 is a glycidyl ether group, and the other R1-R10 represent any of a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, or aliphatic hydrocarbon group having four or fewer carbon atoms.); [B]: glycidylamine epoxy resin having three or more glycidyl groups per molecule; [C]: thermoplastic resin soluble in epoxy resin; [D]: epoxy resin curing agent.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an epoxy resin composition capable of providing a carbon fiber-reinforced composite material that is excellent in moldability, heat resistance, and mechanical properties such as tensile strength and compression strength, and a prepreg. The present invention provides an epoxy resin composition containing at least components [A] to [D] shown below: [A]: an epoxy resin having a xylene group; [B]: a glycidyl amine epoxy resin having three or more glycidyl groups in a molecule; [C]: a thermoplastic resin; and [D]: an aromatic polyamine, the epoxy resin composition containing 10 to 80 parts by mass of the component [A] and 20 to 90 parts by mass of the component [B] based on 100 parts by mass in total of epoxy resins, and also 1 to 25 parts by mass of the component [C] based on 100 parts by mass in total of epoxy resins.

Equation (1): 0.5 (moles of active hydrogen included in component [B]+moles of active hydrogen included in component [C])/moles of epoxy groups in component [A]≤1.5; Equation (2) 0.02≤moles of component [C]/moles of component [B]≤5.0. In formula (a), X is chosen from C═O, S═O and O═P—OH, and R1 to R4 are at least one atom or group selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alicyclic hydrocarbon group having 4 or fewer carbon atoms, and a halogen atom.
