摘要: The present invention provides a radiator for a light emitting unit, annexed to the light emitting unit including a multiplicity of light emitting diodes mounted on substantially the same axis line on a first principal surface of a wiring substrate. The radiator includes a radiating plate and a heat pipe. The radiating plate is combined with the wiring substrate, with a first principal surface faced as a faying surface to a second principal surface opposite to the first principal surface of the wiring substrate, and is provided with a heat pipe fitting portion. The heat pipe is mounted into the heat pipe fitting portion of the radiating plate while keeping close contact with the inner wall of the heat pipe fitting portion. The heat generated from the light emitting diode group is transferred to a radiating means through the radiating plate and the heat pipe.

In a pneumatic tire comprising an inner liner layer formed from a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by blending a thermoplastic resin with an elastomer, a tie rubber layer, and a coating rubber layer, the coating rubber layer and the inner liner layer are disposed in a manner such that the coating rubber layer and the inner liner layer overlap each other, and a rubber composition in at least a region of the coating rubber layer where the coating rubber layer and the inner liner layer overlap has an adhesion to the inner liner layer.

摘要: The present technology provides a method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire. The method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire uses a laminated sheet having a predetermined length and an inner liner layer formed from the laminated sheet through a step of cure-molding the tire with end portions of the laminated sheet lap-spliced. In the method, when at least the sheet made of thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic resin composition obtained by blending the thermoplastic resin and the elastomer is cut into the predetermined length, the cutting is performed by using an edge tool having a non-sharp edge under a temperature condition not lower than 60° C. and not higher than a melting point of the thermoplastic resin.

摘要: A display apparatus for a vehicle includes a liquid crystal panel, a backlight unit, and a control circuit. The liquid crystal panel has a screen constructed with pixels. A first portion of the pixels displays a speed image indicating a vehicle speed. A second portion of the pixels displays a warning image indicating a vehicle abnormal condition. The control circuit adjusts brightness of the screen by controlling intensity of colors in the speed and warning images in such a manner that brightness of the warning image is greater than brightness of the speed image. The luminance of the light supplied to the screen by the backlight unit is kept constant.

摘要: A map image showing a current position and its surroundings, a route, and an arrow are displayed and superimposed on one another. The arrow has a base indicating the current position and a length indicating a predetermined distance along the route. The arrow has the transparency adjusted to be half transparent to make the map image and route discernible. The arrow moves along with the current position as a vehicle travels on the route. When the route is rectilinear, the shape and length of the arrow do not change. When the route is turned left at an intersection, the arrowhead is turned left after reaching the intersection. Since the arrow is displayed along the route, the arrowhead is disposed on a road to which the vehicle is brought by a left turn made on a road on which the base is disposed.

摘要: A layered structure suitable for use in a pneumatic tire as an innerliner is prepared by directly bonding a fluid permeation prevention film and an adhesive tie layer. Prior to the bonding, the fluid permeation prevention layer is treated to remove any residual plasticizers or oils on the surface of the film. The tie layer comprises 100 weight % of at least one halogenated isobutylene containing elastomer and about 1 to about 20 parts per hundred (phr) of at least one tackifier. The fluid permeation prevention film comprises an elastomeric component dispersed in a vulcanized or partially vulcanized state, as a discontinuous phase, in a matrix of the thermoplastic resin component. The two layers of the layered structure may be separately extruded and then adhered to each other or adhered to each other during a calendaring operation wherein the adhesive tie layer composition is coated onto the treated film.
