Abstract: In connection management by a conventional server apparatus using IDs, a client apparatus cannot know an attribute of a connection corresponding to an ID. A server apparatus (10) is an AV server apparatus that distributes content to a client apparatus requesting content data. A communication unit (11) receives a logical connection establishment request or a physical connection establishment request from the client apparatus. A content data distribution unit (14) establishes a physical connection for distributing the content data to the client apparatus, when the physical connection establishment request is received. A connection information management unit (15) establishes a logical connection, when the logical connection establishment request is received or as a result of the establishment of the physical connection. The connection information management unit (15) further generates an ID (connection ID) that corresponds to the logical connection and belongs to a value range associated with a logical connection category (type).

Abstract: A water repellent film (200) according to the present invention includes a first layer (10) having a plurality of fine protrusions (100) on the surface thereof, a second layer (20) covering the fine protrusions (100) and having a water repellent property, and a third layer (30) provided on the surface of the first layer (10) on the opposite side of the fine protrusions (100). When a modulus of elasticity of the first layer (10) is defined as E1, a modulus of elasticity of the second layer (20) is defined as E2, and a modulus of elasticity of the third layer (30) is defined as E3, a definition of E2>E1>E3 is fulfilled. Accordingly, the water repellent film having excellent resistance to abrasion in which a fine structure is not easily abraded and damaged by an external friction force or the like can be obtained.

Abstract: The fluid guiding surfaces of the present invention include a first elongate directional band A arranged substantially in parallel with a second elongate directional band B. Due to differences in physicochemical surface energy of the first and second bands, the contact angle of water on elongate directional band B may be smaller than the contact angle of water on elongate directional band A, thereby guiding fluid droplets along the surface in a direction parallel to elongate directional band B. For example, the difference 74 A−θB between a first contact angle of water on elongate directional band A, and a second contact angle of water on elongate directional band B, is from about 10° to about 140°.
