    摘要: A latex of a highly crosslinked butadiene rubber polymer comprising not less than 50% of butadiene, 1.0 to 10% of a crosslinking agent and a remainder of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with butadiene, and having a particle size of 600 to 3,000 .ANG. and a degree of swelling of not greater than 7 is obtained by one or more stages of emulsion polymerization. By polymerizing 15 to 30 parts of a monomer mixture of an alkyl methacrylate, an aromatic vinyl monomer, and optionally a crosslinking agent and an unsaturated nitrile in the presence of 85 to 70 parts of the rubber polymer, a graft copolymer is obtained. A composition comprising 2 to 40% of this graft copolymer and 98 to 60% of a vinyl chloride resin possesses high impact resistance coupled with improved stress-whitening resistance, which properties cannot be easily obtained at the same time in conventional resin compositions.

    摘要: A heat-resistant stretched film is obtained by stretching a resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a poly(arylene sulfide) of a substantially linear structure and 5 to less than 100 parts by weight of a melt-stable poly(arylene thioether-ketone). The poly(arylene sulfide) has a melt viscosity of at least 1,000 poises as measured at 310.degree. C. and a shear rate of 200 sec.sup.-1. The poly(arylene thioether-ketone) has predominant recurring units of the formula ##STR1## wherein the --CO-- and --S-- groups are bonded in the para position to each other through the benzene ring, and has the following physical properties (a)-(c):(a) a melting point, Tm being 310.degree.-380.degree. C.;(b) a melt crystallization temperature, Tmc (420.degree. C./10 min) being at least 210.degree. C. and a residual melt crystallization enthalpy, .DELTA.Hmc (420.degree. C./10 min) being at least 10 J/g; and(c) a reduced viscosity being 0.3-2 dl/g at 25.degree. C. and a polymer concentration of 0.5 g/dl in 98% sulfuric acid.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a process for the preparation of a poly(arylene thioether-ketone) improved in melt stability, which comprises subjecting a poly(arylene thioether-ketone) (PTK) to a heat treatment for 5-5.times.10.sup.3 minutes in a powdery state and a temperature range of 200.degree.-350.degree. C. The PTK has predominant recurring units of the formula ##STR1## and has a melting point, Tm of 310.degree.-380.degree. C., a melt crystallization temperature, Tmc (420.degree. C./10 min) of at least 210.degree. C., a residual melt crystallization enthalpy, .DELTA.Hmc (420.degree. C./10 min) of at least 10 J/g and a reduced viscosity of 0.2-2.0 dl/g. PTKs improved in melt stability and prepared in accordance with the above-described preparation process are also disclosed.
