摘要： A microwave tube has a configuration in which the connection between an anode electrode and the helix is cut, the helix is grounded, and a current suppression element is provided between the anode electrode and ground voltage for suppressing the continuous time interval of the flow of an excess current to the helix that is caused by discharge to a time interval range that does not threaten damage to the helix, i.e., to a time interval range in which an alarm signal is not supplied.

摘要： A catalyst for catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxide using at least one reducing agent selected from the group consisting of a hydrocarbon and an oxygen-containing organic compound is described, which includes an oxide represented by formula (V):A.sup.5.sub.x B.sup.3.sub.3-x C.sup.4.sub.3 O.sub.7 (V)wherein A.sup.5 represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of La, Y, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, and Gd; B.sup.3 represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr, Ca, Mg, Pb, Zn, and Ag; C.sup.4 represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mn, Co, Fe, Ni, Cr, Cu, V, Mo, W, Ti, Zr, Nb, Pd, Rh, Ru, and Pt; and x is a number of from 0 to 1, supported on a solid acid carrier. Also, methods for catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxide are described including reacting nitrogen oxide with at least one reducing agent selected from the group consisting of a hydrocarbon and an oxygen-containing organic compound in the presence of oxygen and a specific catalyst.

摘要： A process for removing nitrogen oxide from exhaust is disclosed, comprising contacting exhaust containing nitrogen oxide with an alumina catalyst which contains not more than 0.5% by weight of an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal and has a total pore volume of from 0.48 to 1.2 cm.sup.3 .multidot.g.sup.-1 with 0.26 to 0.6 cm.sup.3 .multidot.g.sup.-1 of the total pore volume being formed of pores of not greater than 80 .ANG. or has a volume of pores formed of pores of not greater than 60 .ANG. of from 0.06 to 0.2 cm.sup.3 .multidot.g.sup.-l and which may have supported thereon tin in an oxidative atmosphere containing excess oxygen in the presence of a hydrocarbon or an oxygen-containing organic compound.

摘要： A device for inscribing additional informations on microfilms of a construction, wherein informations already recorded on microfilms are projected on an image screen by means of an enlarging and projecting device, additional informations to be entered on this microfilm are written in on the projected enlarged information images on the screen by a pen through guide means which moves on the projected image on the screen, the additional informations thus written-in on an appropriate portion on the projected image on the screen are reduced by a scale reducing means interlinked with the guide means and which reduces the movement of the guide means, and the thus reduced additional informations are then inscribed on the microfilm by means of write-in needle attached to the scale-reducing means.

摘要： This invention relates to drinks and foods having osteogenetic function, each of which comprises as an active ingredient an effective amount of a culture of a propionic acid bacterium and/or a lactic acid bacterium, said culture containing 2-amino-3-carboxy-1,4-naphthoquinone; and preventives and/or remedies for metabolic bone diseases, each of which comprises as an active ingredient a naphthoquinone compound selected from the group consisting of 2-amino-3-carboxy-1,4-naphthoquinone, 1,4-naphthoquinone, 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone, 2,3-dichloro-1,4-naphthoquinone, 5-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone, 8-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone, 2-(α-hydroxy-δ-methylpentenyl)-5,8-dihydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone and salts thereof. These cultures and naphthoquinones promote bone metabolism and increase bone mass and bone strength.
