摘要: Methods of making an iron based catalyst using microwave hydrothermal synthesis are provided. The methods include dissolving iron(III) nitrate, Fe(NO3)3, in an organic solvent to form a solution. Once dissolved, the methods include a step of neutralizing the solution with an alkaline mineralizing agent to obtain a precipitate. The solution with the precipitate is then subjected to microwave radiation to cause a temperature gradient and a hydrothermal crystallization process to form a synthesized product. The synthesized product is subsequently separated from the mineralizing agent. The method includes washing and drying the synthesized product to obtain particles of sodium iron oxide (NaFeO2) catalyst that can be used as a composition for a passive NOx adsorber. A two-stage NOx abatement device for removal of NOx from an exhaust gas stream during a cold start operation of an internal combustion engine is also provided.

摘要: A catalyst article comprises an SCR catalyst and a NOx adsorber catalyst, where each of these catalysts comprise a metal molecular sieve, each with a different metal. The catalyst article can be close coupled with other components to give a NOX performance advantage from cold start to a combined DOC and SCRF system. Higher NOX conversion is also shown in under-floor location due to NOx storage before SCR light off and selective NH3 slip control, allowing higher NH3 fill levels. Systems comprising the catalyst article and methods of using the catalyst article to give improved hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide control, as well as ammonia slip control, are described. The systems can include flow-through or wall-flow monoliths.

摘要: A hydrodemetallization (HDM) catalyst includes an alumina and carbon extrudate support having a weight ratio of about 1:1 alumina to carbon and bimodal type pore size distribution, i.e., both meso-porosity and macro-porosity. The support can be impregnated with at least one hydrogenation active metal and, optionally, at least one promoter metal from the transition metals of Groups 6, 8, 9, and 10 of the Periodic Table. The hydrogenation active metal can be, for example, Mo, W, and Fe. The promoter metal can be, for example, Co, Ni, and Fe. The catalyst may further include ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid (EDTA).

摘要: The present disclosure provides a hydrogenation catalyst, the preparation process thereof and the application thereof in the production of 1,4-butanediol by hydrogenating dialkyl maleate and/or dialkyl succinate. The catalyst comprises Cu—Al-A-B—O, wherein A comprises at least one of Zn, Mo and W, B comprises at least one of Ba, Mn, Mg, Ti, Ce and Zr. In the process for preparing said hydrogenation catalyst, a part of Cu and A are precipitated first and the rest of Cu, Al and B are precipitated successively.
