    摘要： A method of manufacturing a tandem thin-film solar cell is provided, the solar cell including a plurality of photoelectric conversion units stacked on a substrate, the photoelectric conversion units each having a p-type layer, an i-type photoelectric conversion layer and an n-type layer deposited in this order from a light-incident side of the solar cell, and at least a rear unit among the photoelectric conversion units that is furthest from the light-incident side being a crystalline unit including a crystalline i-type photoelectric conversion layer. The manufacturing method includes the steps of forming at least one of the units on the substrate by plasma CVD and immediately thereafter forming an i-type boundary layer to a thickness of at most 5 nm by plasma CVD, and thereafter removing the substrate into the atmosphere to expose a surface of the i-type boundary layer to the atmosphere and then forming a crystalline unit on the i-type boundary layer by plasma CVD.

    摘要： A magnetic recording/reproducing device including a top cover having a plurality of leg portions 1e with cutouts that project from each side face of the top cover such that the location of a leg portion at one side face does not correspond to the location of a leg portion at the other side face; and a bottom cover having a plurality of retaining portions 2e in correspondence with the leg portions 1e at each side face of the lower cover formed by bending portions of the side faces. The top cover and the bottom cover are integrally engaged together by fitting the retaining portions into the cutouts of their corresponding leg portions. A plurality of top covers are successively press-cut from a metal plate such that a leg portion of a particular top cover is positioned between the leg portions of another top cover that is adjacent to the particular top cover, thus reducing the amount of scraps produced from the metal plate. Accordingly, the invention makes it possible to produce a magnetic recording/reproducing device at a lower cost.

The method includes placing the slidably contacting surface of the head on the bottom of the placing unit of the jig to position the head in the placing unit, placing the case on the support to set its height at a predetermined gap with respect to the mounting surface of the head, and filling a bonding agent in the gap between the mounting surfaces of the case and the head.

    摘要： A first and second rotary members are supported on a holder 3 secured to a main chassis of disk drive apparatus. The first rotary member includes a detecting portion. The second rotary member includes a contact portion that moves in and out of the insertion path of a disk cartridge to be inserted into the holder. When the disk cartridge is being inserted, an opening-and-closing pin opens the shutter of the disk. Through the detecting portion, the opening shutter rotates the first rotary member, which then rotates the second rotary member to thereby move the contact portion of the second rotary member out of the insertion path of the disk cartridge, allowing the disk cartridge to be inserted. If the shutter fails to open when the disk cartridge is being inserted, the contact portion of the second rotary member will remain in the insertion path and block the insertion of the disk cartridge.

Further, after a lower magnetic head 20 is placed on the fitting bed 18p, a lower surface of the lower magnetic head 20 is adhered and fixed onto the fitting bed 18p through an adhesive 28 put in the adhesive filling groove 18r.
