A method of providing caller identification information may include receiving caller identification information associated with a first communication device at a video processing device via a wireless communication. The method may also include selecting a first display profile associated with the first communication device from a plurality of display profiles. The method may also include generating a display in accordance with the first display profile. The display may include data related to the caller identification information.

摘要： A method and system for creating and navigating linear hypermedia resource programs are disclosed. The system includes a distributed hypermedia resource network having a plurality of hypermedia resources residing on one or more remote information nodes. A common remote information node is in communication with a subscriber station and the remote information nodes in the distributed network. The common remote information node contains at least one linear hypermedia resource program consisting of pre-selected media elements from one or more hypermedia resources linked with exclusive linear links, each media element in the linear program having only one forward link to the next media element. The method includes the steps of downloading and displaying a media element in the linear program and responding to user commands to download and display the next media element in the linear program.

This permits the stationary device to make use of the location information in combination with other information from the stationary device, communicated from the mobile device and/or communicated from other devices in a network of devices connected to the stationary device, to customize features of the stationary device accordingly. The stationary device is activated through an external trigger or automatically through an internal trigger.

摘要： A method and system for enabling a venue to selectively block incoming calls to cellular phones located at the venue includes the venue providing a provider with a list of selected cellular phones which are to be able to receive incoming calls while located at the venue. In response to receiving an incoming call to a recipient cellular phone, the provider determines whether the recipient phone is a selected phone and compares the recipient phone and venue locations to determine whether the recipient phone is located at the venue. The provider blocks the call if the recipient phone is located at the venue and if the recipient phone is not a selected phone. The provider establishes the call if the recipient phone is located at the venue and if the recipient phone is a selected phone, and the provider establishes the call if the recipient phone is not located at the venue.

摘要： A system and method are disclosed to support multiple wireless account for a given subscriber. A method that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, linking various accounts to a wireless enabled device of a wireless service subscriber. In one embodiment, device addresses like telephone numbers and electronic mail addresses for devices that may call or be called by the subscriber may be associated one of the various accounts. In operation, a call may be completed between the subscriber's wireless enabled device and one of the other devices, and a call metric for the call may be tracked. A billing entry for the call may be generated from the call metric and the call may be charged to an appropriate account selected from the various accounts. The process of determining the appropriate account may include, for example, determining if the device address for the other device is associated with one of the accounts linked to the subscriber's wireless enabled device.

The call is routed in response to the signalling information and the privacy level. This permits management of privacy levels at the called communication station using the signalling information for the call.

摘要： Devices, systems, and methods are disclosed which relate to using a remote scanner for mobile transactions. A point of sale (POS) terminal communicates with a remote scanner that is removably coupled to the POS terminal. Logic on the POS terminal generates a request for a transaction information and transmits the request along with a restriction to the remote scanner. Logic on the remote scanner receives the request and the restriction, transmits the request to a mobile device, receives the transaction information while monitoring the restriction, and transmits the transaction information to the POS terminal for processing. The transaction information may be provided subject to the restriction.
