These assays are useful for identifying potential anti-odorants which may be used in deodorants, air and carpet fresheners, fabric deodorizers, and other compositions for camouflaging odor attributable to IVA and related carboxylic acids.

In one example, a described apparatus is in a venue for wireless proximity monitoring. The apparatus comprises: a transmitter, a receiver, and a processor. The transmitter is configured for transmitting a wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel, wherein the wireless multipath channel is impacted by a motion of an object within a proximity of the apparatus. The receiver is configured for: receiving the wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel between the transmitter and the receiver, and obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the wireless signal received by the receiver. The processor is configured for monitoring the motion of the object within the proximity of the apparatus based at least partially on the TSCI.

The dummy word line driver drives a dummy word line for at least one dummy cell in the column of dummy cells. The timing control circuit generates enable signals having configurable delay, which may be obtained with an acceleration circuit that provides variable drive for a dummy bit line coupled to the column of memory cells. The sense amplifiers detect bit lines for the columns of memory cells based on the enable signals.

The present teaching relates to vital sign detection and monitoring based on channel state information (CSI). In one example, an apparatus for vital sign detection is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a receiver, a processor and a memory communicatively coupled with the processor. The receiver is configured for receiving at least one wireless signal from a multipath channel that can be impacted by a vital sign of at least one living being. The processor is configured for: extracting a time series of channel state information (CSI) for the multipath channel from the at least one wireless signal, obtaining one or more periodic fluctuations based on a spectral analysis of the time series of CSI, and determining whether the vital sign is present based on the one or more periodic fluctuations.
