    摘要: A wheel bearing device of the invention includes a flanged shaft member that includes a shaft portion to which a rolling bearing is assembled, a fitting shaft portion that is formed on one end side of the shaft portion and that is fitted to a center hole of a wheel, and a plurality of flange portions that extend radially outward on an outer peripheral surface located between the shaft portion and the fitting shaft portion and each of which has a bolt hole in which a hub bolt for fastening the wheel is arranged. Each flange portion is formed by side extrusion when a forged recess is formed at a center of an end surface of the fitting shaft portion by cold forging.

    摘要: A rolling bearing device for a wheel includes a fixed bearing ring in a tubular shape which is fixed to a vehicle side, and a rotary bearing ring which is rotatably passed through the fixed bearing ring, and includes a plurality of flange portions for mounting the wheel formed on an outer periphery at one end side thereof in an axial direction, and a spigot joint portion in an annular shape protruding in the axial direction formed in a one end part thereof in the axial direction. A circular recess is formed in the one end part of the rotary bearing ring in the axial direction. Thick wall parts for reinforcement are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the spigot joint portion at positions corresponding to regions between a part between the respective flange portions.

    摘要: Even if a power source is cut OFF while a failure is present and then the power source is turned back ON with the failure uncorrected, the details of the same failure will not be recorded as failure history data, thus permitting correct failure history data to be stored. In an on-vehicle controller failure diagnosing method in which, if a vehicle failure happens, the time at which the failure happened and the details of the failure are stored as failure history data, the details of a detected failure are stored as failure history data only if the details of the failure which existed when the power source of the on-vehicle controller was cut OFF are different from the details of the failure detected during a failure diagnosis carried out when the power source is turned back ON. Further, it is determined, during the failure diagnosis carried out after the power source of the on-vehicle controller is turned ON, whether the cause of a failure which existed when the power source was cut OFF has been eliminated, and if the cause is found to be eliminated, then it is determined that the failure which existed when the power source was cut OFF has been completely corrected, and the result is stored as failure history data.

    摘要: An apparatus comprising a round-like housing having two assemblies therein. In one assembly there is a group of extending members each having affixed thereto metal backing members, which are alternatively either segment-like or inverted segment-like and have mounted a pair of rollers facing each other across a weld backing strip, the extending members being movable and workable in alternative shifts. In the other assembly the extending members each have affixed thereto a roller, the extending members being movable and workable all in one movement. There are fluid cylinder mechanisms in the assemblies for moving the members in the above-mentioned manner. The aligning, the expanding and the welding of pipes are easily and stably accomplished by such apparatus performed without need of any tack welding.
