The composition is especially useful in low friction coating for telecommunication cables.

摘要: Electronic telecommunication articles are described comprising a crosslinked fluoropolymer layer comprising fluoropolymer particles having a particle size of greater than 1 micron. In typical embodiments, the crosslinked fluoropolymer layer is a in substrate, patterned (e.g. photoresist) layer, insulating layer, passivation layer, cladding, protective layer, or a combination thereof. Also describes are methods of making an electronic telecommunications article and method of forming a patterned fluoropolymer layer. The fluoropolymer preferably comprises at least 80, 85, or 90% by weight of polymerized units of perfluorinated monomers and cure sites selected from nitrile, iodine, bromine, and chlorine. Illustrative electronic communication articles include integrated circuits, printed circuit boards, antennas, and optical fiber cables. Fluoropolymer compositions are also described.

摘要: Pressure sensitive adhesives are provided comprising an adhesive copolymer which is a copolymer of a set of monomers comprising: a) 41.0-49.0 weight percent of isobornyl acrylate (IBOA); b) 0.0-4.5 weight percent of one or more basic-functional polar monomers comprising a polymerizable double bond; and c) 46.5-58.9 weight percent of one or more alkyl (meth)acrylate monomers, where the alkyl groups are selected from linear and branched alkyl groups comprising 2-12 carbon atoms and branched alkyl groups comprising 13-20 carbon atoms and wherein weight percentages are weight percent of all monofunctional monomers comprising the adhesive copolymer. In another aspect, the present disclosure provides tapes comprising the pressure sensitive adhesive according to the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the tapes are flexographic plate mounting tapes.

摘要: A tetrafluoroethene copolymer having a melting point of from about 240° C. to 325° C., a melt flow index (MFI at 372° C. and 5 kg load) of 0.5-80 grams/10 minutes and having at least 70% by weight of units derived from tetrafluoroethene and further comprising units derived from at least one perfluorinated alkyl allyl ether (PAAE) comonomer corresponding to the general formula: CF2═CF—CF2—O—Rf (I) where Rf is a perfluorinated alkyl residue having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms and wherein the alkyl chain of the residue may be interrupted once or more than once by an oxygen atom and further, optionally, comprising units derived from perfluoromethyl vinyl ether (PMVE), perfluoroethyl vinyl ether (PEVE) and a combination thereof and wherein the content of units CA derived PAAEs and, optionally, PMVE, PEVE or a combination thereof, is at least 1.0% by weight.

摘要: Compositions include a compound preparable by reaction of components comprising an optionally crosslinked polyethylenimine and at least one an amine-reactive hydrolyzable organosilane represented by the formula R—Z—SiY3. 摘要: A method of disinfecting a medical device comprises three steps. First, a disinfectant is contacted with a process indicator and the medical device. The disinfectant comprises at least one aldehyde. The process indicator contains a synthetic amine-containing compound disposed on a substrate. The synthetic amine-containing compound comprises at least one of primary amino groups or secondary amino groups, and is reactive with the disinfectant to form at least one adduct. The synthetic amine-containing compound and the medical device are in fluid communication through the disinfectant. A predetermined disinfectant exposure criterion exists for contacting the disinfectant with the medical device. Second, the process indicator is spectrally observed and at least one parameter is obtained therefrom that is predictive of the predetermined disinfectant exposure criterion. The third step is determining that the predetermined disinfectant exposure criterion has been achieved.
