    摘要: The present invention relates to a chromatographic method of separating biological material comprising, providing chromatographic media comprising inorganic oxide particles having an average diameter of about 2 microns or less and an average pore diameter of 300 Å or more; applying a solvent comprising said biological material to said media, wherein said biological material is reversibly bonded to said media; and eluting said biological material from said media with a solvent in less than about 2 minutes for biological material having a molecular weight of less than about 100,000 Daltons.

The apparatus comprises a housing having an effluent flow channel adapted to permit fluid flow therethrough. The effluent flow channel comprises chromatography material.     摘要: Methods and devices for continuous electrochemically suppressed ion chromatography are disclosed. In preferred aspect of the invention, a chromatography effluent comprising analyte ions and electrolyte is split into a first chromatography effluent flow stream and a second chromatography effluent flow stream. Electrolysis ions selected from the group consisting of hydronium ions and hydroxide ions are generated by the electrolysis of water. Electrolysis ions of the same charge as the electrolyte and the second chromatography effluent stream are flowed through a stationary phase thereby suppressing the electrolyte in the second chromatography effluent flow stream. The analyte ions are subsequently detected in the suppressed second chromatography effluent flow stream.

    摘要: A device for connecting one liquid chromatography device to another. The device comprises an elongated, cylindrical shaft having an integral ferrule seat at each end of the shaft. A central bore extends through the shaft and the integral ferrule seats to permit liquid to pass therethrough. An enlarged collar is located centrally on the shaft to aid in attaching the device to chromatography equipment. Because of the short length of the device and minimum size of the central bore, the device has a minimum of interceding volume so that the efficiency of connected devices is uneffected.
