摘要： Methods of preparing highly purified steviol glycosides are described. The methods include utilizing enzyme preparations and recombinant microorganisms for converting various starting compositions to target steviol glycosides. The highly purified steviol glycosides are useful as non-caloric sweetener, flavor enhancer, sweetness enhancer, flavor stabilizer, flavoring with modifying properties (FMP), foaming suppressor and solubility enhancing agent in consumable products such as any food, beverages, pharmaceutical compositions, tobacco products, nutraceutical compositions, and oral hygiene compositions.

摘要： Stevia varieties with high a content of RebD, a high content of RebM, and a high content of RebD and RebM containing various SNP markers and UGT isoforms, are disclosed. Methods of screening for the SNPs are also disclosed as well as for using the SNPs in marker assisted breeding. Further provided are methods for introgressing the disclosed SNPs associated with high RebD and high RebM into Stevia plants by selecting plants comprising for one or more SNPs and breeding with such plants to confer such desirable agronomic phenotypes to plant progeny.

摘要： Glucosyl Stevia compositions are prepared from steviol glycosides of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni. The glucosylation was performed by cyclodextrin glucanotransferase using the starch as source of glucose residues. The short-chain glucosyl Stevia compositions were purified to >95% content of total steviol glycosides. The compositions can be used as sweetness enhancers, flavor enhancers and sweeteners in foods, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
