摘要： A method and apparatus for manufacture of a rolling body directly on a bearing, comprising a hub, a roller sleeve, an annular portion joining the hub and roller sleeve, and reinforcing ribs on either side of the annular portion. Injected material fills the recesses for forming the reinforcing ribs from two directions: a primary flow radially inwardly directed from the mold portion for forming the roller sleeve and a secondary flow radially outwardly directed from the mold portion for forming the hub. The total cross-sectional area of the recesses for forming the reinforcing ribs is adjusted with respect to the circumferential cross-sectional area of the mold portion for forming the annular portion so that the fronts of the primary and secondary flows meet in the recesses. Pressure-release openings are arranged to communicate with the recesses at points in the area at which the meeting of the flow fronts occurs. The junctures resulting from the meeting of the flow fronts are thereby formed along the reinforcing ribs.

摘要： A method for the production of a guide rail for linear guiding and having a hardened rolling body race groove on opposite sides of the guide rail. In order to minimize production costs and avoid cutting of the race grooves, the race grooves are initially spaced at a distance that is greater or smaller than their finally desired value, by an incremental distance. Grooves are provided centrally in the guide rail between the opposed race grooves, and the race rail is then hardened except in the region of the central grooves. Compression rollers in the race grooves or central grooves are then forced into the guide rail to decrease or increase respectively the distance between the race grooves until the desired distance therebetween is obtained. The method can also be employed when only a single race groove is provided on the rail.

The centering section is radially supported in the bore of the outer ring or on the outer surface of the inner ring. The seal has a mounting section which is axially clamped between the centering section and a radially extending inner shoulder of the outer or inner ring, adjacent the bore of the outer ring or the outer surface of the inner ring.

摘要： A rotor bearing assembly is provided wherein a shaft is journalled within a housing by a pair of spaced bearings packed in a quantity of grease. An oil guide surrounds the shaft and a storage space between the guide and the housing is formed for retaining a supply of grease capable of releasing oil into the guide to replenish the packing. A fresh supply of grease is periodically introduced into the storage space through an inlet extending through the housing. An outlet extends through the housing for discharging a corresponding quantity of grease from the storage space into a collection chamber exterior of the housing which receives and holds the discharged grease.

A felt ring is mounted on a shoulder of the piston away from the chamber, to engage the bore surface of the chamber, and a holding ring is snapped onto the end of the shoulder to hold the felt ring on the shoulder. An extension of the holding ring forms a seal with the bore on the chamber, and defines, with the felt ring a dust catching recess.
