    摘要： A thrombus detection device comprising an elongate tube having at least one opening at a distal end of the elongate tube. A coupling is attached or formed at the proximal end of the elongate tube. The detection of the presence of a thrombus is performed by using a syringe to withdraw blood through the at least one thrombus detection opening at the distal end of the elongate tube. If little or no blood is withdrawn, or if the withdrawal of blood is more difficult than expected, the presence of a thrombus obstructing the openings is indicated.

    摘要： A fluid displacement and pressurizing device having a housing and a carrier member. A plunger extends through the carrier member, and plunger engaging structure is retained by the carrier member. The plunger engaging structure is selectively engageable with, and disengageable from, the plunger. The housing and carrier member are configured such that the carrier member is transversely installable in the housing. Preferably, both the carrier member and the plunger engaging structure form a sub-assembly, and the sub-assembly is transversely installable in the housing after having been assembled. By providing that the carrier member is transversely installable as a sub-assembly which includes the plunger engaging structure, the device is easy to assemble, and lends itself well to an automated assembly process. Integral handle and gripping features make control and operation of the devices easier, and allows for torsional operating loads to be resolved without reaching the device body.

The main panel (110) may include a pocket (170), via which the surgeon may insert his hands to position the main panel (110) under the patient without disturbing the sterile field.

The removal device is adapted for longitudinal movement relative to the reference member, and is configured for disrupting at least a portion of the occlusion within the body lumen.
