摘要： A nasal irrigation device communicates an irrigant to a device user and comprises a mechanics module and a reservoir assembly wherein a source of saline comprising a cartridge is disposed within the mechanics module adjacent a lid assembly for piercing the cartridge upon closing of a lid for releasing the cartridge contents into the reservoir assembly. A faux collapsible cartridge for testing operability of a nasal irrigation device comprises a housing including a shaft, a spring biased rod extending from the housing shaft, and a flange depending from a housing wall whereby the rod and flange are disposed to actuate a trigger assembly of the nasal irrigation device.

The method includes a) selecting a treatment area in the nasal cavity of the human subject; b) providing a stimulation member arranged for vibration stimulation of the selected treatment area; c) introducing the stimulation member into a nasal cavity of the human subject; d) expanding the stimulation member to exert a pressure on tissue of the selected treatment area; and e) bringing the stimulation member to vibrate in the nasal cavity to impart vibrations to the selected treatment area.

摘要： A vibration device includes a vibrating element positioned to stimulate the paranasal sinuses of a user when the user is wearing the device. The device includes a control assembly for powering the vibrating element, the control assembly including at least one battery, a control switch for varying the voltage supplied to the vibrating element, electrical wiring extending from the at least one battery to the control switch, and a printed circuit board including timing circuitry for controlling the vibration of the vibrating element and charging circuitry for charging a rechargeable battery, wherein the at least one battery, the electrical wiring, and the printed circuit board are mounted within a strap attached to the vibration device. A remote control receiver for varying the voltage supplied to the vibrating element and an antenna are also mounted within the strap.
