摘要: A re-useable, easily removable tool pin features a non-stick outer surface with a harder inner core configured to be gripped by a removal tool for extraction of the tool pin, without damage, from a mold and from composite plies that may have cured in contact with the tool pin. The tool pin prevents insertion into the mold such that the extractor tool is not attachable to the tool pin. A system includes the tool pin, a mold for forming a molded part, the mold having holes for insertion of tool pins, and an extractor tool adapted to grip the tool pin for removal from the mold and molded part. The extractor tool can be ergonomically designed for easy removal of the tool pin by hand. Such tool pins are adapted for production of parts from composite materials in many industries, including aerospace, automotive, transportation, agricultural, and energy.

摘要: An imprint apparatus for transferring a pattern to an imprint material using a mold includes a substrate holding mechanism and a control unit. The substrate holding mechanism is configured to be divided into a plurality of areas, capable of varying an attracting force for attracting the substrate in each of the areas and to hold the substrate. The control unit is configured to, when a plurality of shots is formed on the substrate, control an imprint operation of transferring the pattern to the plurality of shots which are not adjacent to one another, makes the attracting force in the area of the substrate holding mechanism corresponding to the shot to which the pattern is transferred among the plurality of areas smaller than the attracting force at the time of the imprint operation and suck the substrate.

摘要: An imprinting method is capable of separating a molding material and a target material rapidly in pattern formation. The imprinting method includes a transferring process for transferring an inverted pattern of a mold 10 having a desired pattern formed thereon to a resist 30 by pressing the mold 10 against the resist 30; a curing process for curing the resist 30 by heating or irradiating light; and a separating process for separating the mold 10 from the resist 30 after the resist 30 is cured through the transferring process. The separating process includes a pulling process for pulling the mold 10 away from the resist 30 in a direction opposite to a direction in which the resist 30 is pressed; and a pushing process for pushing the resist 30 in the same direction as a direction in which the mold 10 presses the resist 30.

摘要: The invention include methods and apparatus for demolding a tread. The methods include arranging one or more rollers to extend across a transverse extent of a tread molding cavity and across an outer, exposed side of a tread. The one or more rollers are freely-rotatable and arranged to define a demolding path of the tread extending from the mold. The tread is demolded from the tread molding cavity along the demolding path such that the tread is initially directed outwardly from a molded position within the tread molding cavity at an initial angle less than 90 degrees from the molded position, the tread continuing along the demolding path until the tread is directed away from the molding cavity in a direction 90 degrees from the molded position at a perpendicular position located a distance from the molding cavity at least equal to approximately 80% of the tread thickness.

摘要: To provide a method for manufacturing a seat pad that can maintain the line speed set in accordance with the speed of foam molding without difficulty. In the state where a molding-surface forming member 30 to be removably mounted on a molding die 20 where a seat pad 3 is foam-molded is removed from the molding die 20, a clipping member 5 (embedded member) is removably secured to the molding-surface forming member 30. Subsequently, the molding-surface forming member 30 to which the clipping member 5 is secured is mounted on the molding die 20. Mounting the molding-surface forming member 30, to which a plurality of the clipping members 5 are secured, on the molding die 20 allows securing the clipping members 5 together to the molding die 20. As a result, it is possible to maintain the line speed set in accordance with the speed of foam molding.
