摘要: A method of controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle executing a mission in a defined mission area including a first observation area within a Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) of a First Observer (FO), a second observation area within a VLOS of a second observer (SO), and a transition area within the VLOS of both the FO and the SO, the method including: the vehicle moving into the transition area after completing part of the mission within the first observation area, in sight of the FO; and in response to the vehicle moving into the transition area, determining whether the vehicle is in sight of the SO. The vehicle is including multiple processing systems in wireless communication with multiple remote user interfaces and a radar sensor mounted on the vehicle using a moveable mount for moving the radar sensor between different radar orientations, the radar sensor generating a range signal.

摘要: A radar system for a vehicle includes a transmitter, a receiver, and an interference mitigator. The transmitter transmits radio signals. The receiver receives radio signals. The received radio signals include transmitted radio signals reflected from objects. The receiver also processes the received radio signals to produce a sample stream. The interference mitigator successively (i) generates respective signals corresponding to the transmitted radio signals that are reflected from each of a plurality of objects, and (ii) adds the respective signals to the sample stream to form a modified sample stream. The addition of the respective signals removes interference from the sample stream due to the transmitted radio signals reflected from the plurality of objects. The receiver is configured to use the modified sample stream to detect a first object at a first range which is more distant than respective ranges of the plurality of objects.

摘要: A radar sensing system for a vehicle includes a transmitter, a receiver, and an interference mitigation processor. The transmitter transmits radio signals. The receiver receives radio signals. The received radio signals include reflected radio signals that are each transmitted radio signals reflected from objects in the environment. The receiver also down-converts and digitizes the received radio signals to produce a baseband sampled stream. The interference mitigation processor produces a second received radio signal that includes reflected radio signals that are transmitted radio signals reflected from a first object. The interference mitigation processor uses the second received radio signal to remove selected samples from the baseband sampled stream that are attributed to radio signals reflected from the first object to produce a modified baseband sampled stream. The receiver uses the modified baseband sampled stream to detect a second object more distant than the first object.

摘要: A method, system and computer readable media for route re-planning including generating enemy force movement predictions to be used during mission planning. During a mission, enemy force movements can be compared to the predictions. By using enemy force movement predictions for an initial comparison, the enemy force movements may only need to be compared to the own force mission plan if the enemy forces deviate from the predictions. When enemy force movement deviates from the predictions, new enemy force movement predictions can be generated. The new enemy force movement predictions can then be compared to the own force mission plan to determine if a route re-plan is needed. The route can be re-planned to determine a route that reduces or eliminates the chance of a lethal encounter with an enemy or threat.

摘要: Methods and apparatus are discloses for position a vehicle. In one aspect, an apparatus for positioning a vehicle is provided. The apparatus comprises a plurality of receive, each configured to generate a respective voltage signal from a wireless magnetic field generated by a field generator. The apparatus further comprises a processor configured to determine a first set of data based on the respective voltage signals generated by the plurality of receive coils, and reduce the first set of data to a second set of data that is substantially constant regardless of relative rotation between the plurality of receive coils and the field generator. The apparatus is further configured to determine a plurality of candidate positions based upon the second set of data, which are used to determine a position and an orientation with respect to the field generator based on the first set of data.

A situation determination section determines whether a situation requires compromise between the first vehicle and a nearby vehicle. A target vehicle specification section specifies a second vehicle as a target vehicle that requires compromise with the first vehicle. A scheduled action specification section specifies a scheduled action content of the first vehicle when the situation requiring compromise is determined by the situation determination section. A transmission processing section transmits the scheduled action content specified by the scheduled action specification section to the second vehicle. A reception processing section receives acceptance and refusal information indicating acceptance or refusal of the scheduled action content from the second vehicle. A notification processing section issues a notification indicating whether the driver of the second vehicle accepts the scheduled action content, based on the received acceptance and refusal information.

摘要: GPS correction method comprising providing benchmark GPS devices located respectively at a priori known stationary benchmark points within respective geographical zones, the stationary benchmark points having corresponding benchmark GPS coordinates; providing a benchmark database storing data mapping the GPS devices to the benchmark GPS coordinates of their respective stationary benchmark points and their respective geographical zones; receiving first GPS coordinates associated to objects within the geographical zones and second GPS coordinates associated to the stationary benchmark points measured at a same time period, the first GPS coordinates being transmitted by the benchmark GPS devices and the second GPS coordinates being transmitted by GPS devices associated to the objects; and generating corrected GPS coordinates of the object by measuring a deviation between the benchmark GPS coordinates and the second GPS coordinates and using the deviation for correcting the first GPS coordinates. There is also provided a GPS correction system.

摘要: There is provided a radar apparatus of an electronic scan type configured to transmit an electric wave and calculate an angle of a target based on a phase difference of respective reception signals, thereby detecting a target position. An antenna unit transmits and receives the electric wave and provided with two transmission antennae. A transmission unit alternately transmits an electric wave having a first beam pattern and an electric wave having a second beam pattern from the two transmission antennae. First and second reception units calculate arrival angles and reception levels of reflected waves calculated from respective reception signals which are obtained by receiving the reflected waves by the first and second beam patterns. A comparison unit compares the reception levels by combining the arrival angles of the reflected waves. A determination unit determines whether a target actually exists at the arrival angles in accordance a comparison result.
