Methods and devices for determining speed control management settings are provided. A vehicle configuration is obtained, specifying at least a transmission, including a number of gears present in the transmission. One or more speed control management modules, such as progressive shift and/or gear down protection modules, are selected by a customer. One or more default progressive shift limits and a default gear down protection limit are calculated, along with gears for which they are active. Performance of the vehicle using the default speed control management settings is simulated and compared to typical vehicle performance. The customer may alter the speed control management settings within dynamically determined valid ranges. The speed control management settings are used in the manufacture or other configuration of the vehicle for the customer.

Abstract:
A speed limit value that is set for a road where a vehicle is travelling is used to limit a driving force of the vehicle. If a new speed limit value is acquired, which differs from a currently used speed limit value, and the vehicle is in a state where the driving force is limited based on the currently used speed limit value, a switching screen page enabling an occupant of the vehicle to input a switching instruction to switch the speed limit value used to limit the driving force is displayed. Then, if the occupant inputs the switching instruction in response to the switching screen page being displayed, the speed limit value used to limit the driving force is switched to the new speed limit value.
Abstract:
A method for transition between driving modes of a vehicle is disclosed. The driving modes include an autonomous driving (AD) mode, a partly autonomous driving (PAD) mode and a manual driving (MD) mode. A transition from the PAD mode to the AD mode is performed by enabling the AD mode. A transition from the AD mode to the PAD mode is performed by releasing a steering wheel lock when the PAD mode is in an enabled state. A transition from the MD mode to the AD mode is performed by enabling the AD mode. A transition from the AD mode to the MD mode is performed by releasing the steering wheel lock when the PAD mode is in a disabled state. A system for performing the method and a vehicle including the system are also disclosed.

A method and a device for controlling autonomous driving in an autonomous driving vehicle are provided. The method may include collecting state recognition information during travel, receiving information on a driver-requested automation level, determining a currently applicable maximum automation level based on the collected state recognition information, comparing the driver-requested automation level with the currently applicable maximum automation level to determine whether automation level downward adjustment is required, and adjusting an automation level downward to perform the autonomous driving when it is determined that the automation level downward adjustment is required.

A driver assistance device for a motor vehicle with a drive assembly, which can be connected to a drivetrain via a clutch that can be activated by an actuator. The clutch being a component of an electronically controlled clutch system, in which a clutch pedal sensor detects an actuation of a clutch pedal on the driver's side and in which an analysis unit determines, in a first control mode on the basis of the detected clutch pedal actuation, a clutch torque and actuates the clutch with a corresponding clutch signal. For an adjustment of the clutch response on the driver's side, the analysis unit is associated with an input unit, for the actuation of which, on the driver's side, it is possible to shift between the first control mode and at least one second control mode.
