摘要: An information processing device includes a processor. The processor acquires an operation amount for acceleration/deceleration of a first vehicle by a driver of the first vehicle. The processor acquires an inter-vehicle distance from the first vehicle to a second vehicle traveling ahead of the first vehicle. The processor determines whether the operation amount meets a first specific condition determined in advance. The processor determines whether the inter-vehicle distance meets a second specific condition determined in advance. The processor calculates a diagnosis result about the inter-vehicle distance based on the inter-vehicle distance acquired when the processor determines that both the first specific condition and the second specific condition are met. The processor outputs the diagnosis result.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for a lane crossing assistance system for a vehicle. An electronic controller is configured to automatically detect a first crossing lane intersecting with a current lane occupied by a host vehicle. The electronic controller determines, based at least in part on sensor data received from the at least one object sensor mounted on the host vehicle, whether a crossing vehicle is present in the first crossing lane and moving towards an intersection of the first crossing lane and the current lane occupied by the host vehicle. The electronic controller then calculates a first lane crossing vehicle arrival time and a first lane crossing time. A cross traffic guidance indicator is configured to produce an indication perceivable by a driver of the host vehicle that the intersection cannot be crossed by the host vehicle under current conditions.

摘要: Vehicle acceleration from a learned deceleration area or stop can be learned and/or predicted. While approaching a learned deceleration stop, deceleration data including a current accelerator off speed can be acquired. It can be determined whether there is an acceleration learning record for the learned deceleration stop. Responsive to determining that there is an acceleration learning record for the learned deceleration area, it can be determined whether the current accelerator off speed meets a qualification rule based on one or more prior accelerator off speeds included in the acceleration learning record for the learned deceleration area. Responsive to determining that the current accelerator off speed meets the qualification rule, an acceleration for the vehicle from the learned deceleration area can be predicted. The predicted acceleration can include a cruising speed that is substantially equal to the current accelerator off speed.

摘要: This control device is configured to, based on a premise that an operating condition of a plant is a specific operating condition that is defined in advance, search for a virtual current value of a controlled variable for ensuring that a specific state quantity does not conflict with a constraint in the future using a prediction model, set the virtual current value which was found by the search to a target value of the controlled variable, and determine a manipulated variable of the plant so that an actual current value of the controlled variable approaches the target value. Due to this configuration, even if the operating condition of the plant suddenly changes to the specific operating condition, the controlled variable of the plant can be adjusted in advance so that the specific state quantity in the specific operating condition does not conflict with the constraint.

摘要: System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to preemptively modifying operation of a vehicle according to predicted acceleration inputs. In one embodiment, a method includes, in response to identifying that an environmental context of the vehicle indicates that the vehicle is located at a traffic stop and that a roadway on which the vehicle is traveling includes merging lanes beyond the traffic stop, determining an acceleration profile for the vehicle that indicates a predicted acceleration that is anticipated to be provided by a driver as a function of the environmental context when approaching the merging lanes. The method includes adjusting the operating parameters of the vehicle according to the acceleration profile to preemptively optimize the vehicle in anticipation of an acceleration input from the driver. The method includes controlling the vehicle to accelerate based, at least in part, on the operating parameters upon receiving the acceleration input.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to an autonomous vehicle having a vehicle control system. The vehicle control system includes a vehicle detection system. The vehicle detection system includes receiving an image of a field of view of the vehicle and identifying a region-pair in the image with a sliding-window filter. The region-pair is made up of a first region and a second region. Each region is determined based on a color of pixels within the sliding-window filter. The vehicle detection system also determines a potential second vehicle in the image based on the region-pair. In response to determining the potential second vehicle in the image, the vehicle detection system performs a multi-stage classification of the image to determine whether the second vehicle is present in the image. Additionally, the vehicle detection system provides instructions to control the first vehicle based at least on the determined second vehicle.
