摘要: A display for showing indicia in the form of a bar graph is provided. The display is configured so that each bar of the bar graph depicts a numerical or other quantitative value of a parameter. Each bar is provided with one or more additional indicia representative of numerical values that are related to the numerical values represented by the bar(s) shown in the bar graph. Each of the one or more additional indicia is positioned to as to be superimposed over the respective bar to which the additional indicia correspond, and depict the relationship(s) between the value represented by the bar and the value represented by the one or more additional indicia.

摘要: An endless manual control for use in automation systems, such as automated recording consoles, which controls levels and other parameters of audio, video and other signals, by generating, storing, sending and receiving electronic control signals. The control's internal circuitry translates control movements into electronic signals describing the control's movements. These electronic signals, including external electronic signals which are inputed during certain modes of operation, are fed into a circuit for updating the circuit's memory of control levels. When either the minimum or maximum control level extreme is reached, the circuitry triggers a mechanism to stop the manual rotation of the control in the direction which had or would have caused that control level extreme to be reached.

摘要: An addressable event display and control system for use with a clock controlled programmable memory employs an array of LED's as event designators each of which signifies, when energized, a programmed event in the memory. A bank of seven dual LED's, which is coupled to the memory, is selectively energizable to visually indicate a particular day of the week. When a particular day is selected, the array of designators for that day can be interrogated to determine which of the designators have been programmed for the particular day. Thereafter, a desired one of the designators can be selected to afford review of the program content of the event associated with that designator. The selected event designator is identified by a blinking visual signal. The time of day, a channel and a recording duration time are selectable to identify a particular event and that information is programmable into the memory for subsequent retrieval to control a video frequency recorder in accordance with such information.

摘要: A hierarchical distributive control system is disclosed. The lowest level of the system is a stand alone controller with hot plug in capability, which can accept either analog or digital signals, scale these signal with input subroutines, perform any one of a number of algorithms to produce control signals or can manually produce control signals and output these control signals as either analog or digital signals to field devices. A plurality of controllers communicates with an associated condenser over duel parallel digital communication buses with a full echo, verify communication routine. The condenser contains all records for all controllers under its supervision and can download control information into any replaced controller. A subhost is interconnected to a group of condensers and contains all records contained in all condensers under its supervision. All information can be uploaded from condensers to subhost or downloaded from subhost to condenser. In case of any failure in any subsystem, all lower level systems continue to operate. All controllers are interchangeable.

摘要: An apparatus and a method for monitoring the operating statuses of facilities on the basis of graphical sector representation, which represent the operating status of facilities such as a plant or a building in a fan-shaped graphical representation in which sectors on a concentric circle are represented using the size of radius, different colors, and color tones. A data collection unit collects information and data required for monitoring the operating statuses of plurality of facilities. An operating status-determining unit determines the operating statuses of the facilities using the information and data transmitted from the data collection unit. A user interface unit divides a chart shaped as a concentric circle into sectors corresponding to various operating statuses of the facilities to be monitored, and represents each operating status of the facilities in a fan-shaped graphical representation extending from the center of a concentric circle serving as an origin.
