Abstract: A driving simulation system. The driving simulation system may include one or more driving simulator pods. The one or more driving simulator pods may include a simulated driver cockpit, including simulated vehicle controls; one or more displays providing a simulated driving environment to a driver of the one or more driving simulator pods, and a driving simulator pod computer. The driving simulation system may further include a session server; an outcome engine; an operations user interface; a plurality of data stores; one or more processors; and a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing thereon instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, may cause the system to, receive by the outcome engine an outcome request associated with at least one of the one or more driving simulator pods; process the outcome request to determine if the outcome request is valid or not valid; and implement the outcome request if valid.

Abstract: A driving accident simulation, having a head-wearable user interface (e.g., a head-worn virtual-reality display), may be used to inform a driver of the driver's potential liability under different insurance options. The simulation may determine damages caused by the simulated accident, and identify multiple insurance options and the resulting user liability under each option. The simulation may also be used to assess an insurance adjuster's ability to estimate damages from an accident, by receiving the adjuster's estimate and comparing it to the simulation's own estimate of damages. In some embodiments, the simulation may present a driver with a simulated view from a point of view of another party to the simulated accident.

Abstract: A computer-implemented simulation method is described for testing a driving program for the at least partial autonomous guidance of a test vehicle. The test vehicle is moved by the driving program on a simulated road. A second vehicle in the simulation method is moved as a function of control commands of a user. The test vehicle and the second vehicle are displayed to the user including the road, data relating to the guidance of the test vehicle being collected and stored during the simulation method. A system is also described.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a testing method and a testing system for a human stress reaction, and a computer-readable storage medium. The testing method for the human stress reaction includes acquiring position information and visual field information of a testee in a virtual road traffic scene after the virtual road traffic scene is established; guiding the testee into a test zone when the testee is within a test-waiting zone and when a visual field direction of the testee faces the test zone, and simultaneously, starting acquiring stress reaction data of the testee; controlling a virtual reality environment module to create a virtual stress event in the test zone after it is determined that the testee is within the test zone, and applying a stimulation to the testee, such that the testee make a stress reaction.

Abstract: A driving simulation system is configured to train a driver. The system includes a simulated driver cockpit which includes a steering wheel and at least one video display providing a simulated driving environment to the driver. The system further includes a computerized simulation control module including programming configured to operate a driving simulation through the simulated driver cockpit. The driving simulation includes driving rules. The programming is further configured to monitor performance of the driver during the driving simulation, compare the performance of the driver to the driving rules, and while the driving simulation is still in operation, provide untextualized feedback to the driver regarding performance of the driver.

Abstract: The Present Invention is a chariot that resembles and functions like a training jog cart or sulky in harness racing. The function of the chariot is to train horses and drivers. The chariot receives telemetry from both the horse and the driver, and processes the data with an onboard computer system. The chariot comprises a display (or dashboard) and audio processor to provide the driver and other observers with information. It can be used to train or monitor drivers, Olympic athletes, equine athletes, or animals other than horses, and may be equipped with technologies often used in NASCAR or Formula One vehicles. The chariot may also be used interactively in immersive racing simulators and fantasy games.

Abstract: A simulation device includes an outer frame and an inner frame. The outer frame is fixed to a floor surface and the inner frame is slideably interfaced to the outer frame. The inner frame has an inner frame axis. A hydraulic cylinder is interfaced between the outer frame and the inner frame. Operation of the hydraulic cylinder slides the inner frame with respect to the outer frame along the inner frame axis. A yaw platform is interfaced to the inner frame at one end at a pivot and at a distal opposing end by two or more bearings. The yaw platform has a yaw platform axis. Operation of a yaw motor or a yaw hydraulic ram interfaced between the yaw platform and the inner frame causes the yaw platform to change an angle between the inner frame axis and the yaw platform axis, providing simulation of yaw (loss of control).

Abstract: A training system has one or more displays that simulate or mimic rear view mirrors, showing, for example, what is visible behind the simulated vehicle. The training system includes sensors, software, and related hardware for determining a position of a trainee's head within the simulated vehicle and calculating a viewing angle and/or distance between the trainee's eye(s) and the rear view mirrors. Based upon the viewing angle and/or distance, a rear image is panned/zoomed on each of the rear view mirrors corresponding to the viewing angle and/or distance.
