The housing has, in a first housing section that surrounds the potting compound in the first area of the electroceramic component, a material wherein the thermal conductivity of said material is greater than the thermal conductivity of a material of the housing in a second housing section. The housing in the second housing section surrounding the potting compound in the second area of the electroceramic component includes a non-conductive material.

    摘要: A system for determining an operational state of an atmospheric pressure plasma. The system has a transformer for coupling power into the atmospheric pressure plasma, a current sampling circuit configured to sample at least one current pulse flowing through a primary winding of the transformer, and a programmed microprocessor configured to determine, from a waveform of the current pulse, the operational state of the atmospheric pressure plasma. The operational state is one of: a no plasma state, a plasma origination state indicative of an ignited arc expanding into a plasma by gas flow thereinto, and a plasma maintenance state indicative of the plasma being expanded.

    摘要: This is a pluggable plasma discharge tube device having a replaceable discharge tube and a hand-held shell into which the replaceable discharge tube is plugged. There is a single electrode inside of the tube and no other electrodes outside. This electrode is connected to an output of a power supply and another output of the power supply is connected to a ground wire of its circuit. The input of the power supply is a 12V or lower, DC (direct current) source, or a battery. The plasma is generated via a contact-tube outside discharge, or a plasma jet from the tube, that uses working inert gas. The plasma discharge tube will produce atmospheric pressure, cold quasi-glow plasma, which can be used for sensitive surface disinfection, sterilization, as well as facial skin rejuvenation, treatment of skin tissue infections and destruction of cancer cells.

    摘要: An air treatment device having a plasma generator electrostatic precipitator assembly, is provided. The assembly includes an electrostatic precipitator configured to charge airborne particles in the vicinity of the electrostatic precipitator to provide charged airborne particles, and a plasma generator positioned in proximity to the electrostatic precipitator and configured for cooperation with the electrostatic precipitator. The plasma generator is configured to discharge plasma and provide an inactivation zone in the region of the plasma generator operable to inactivate airborne particles. The air treatment device directs the charged airborne particles generated by the electrostatic precipitator into the inactivation zone such that the air treatment device is adapted to generate charged airborne particles and then immediately, to direct the charged airborne particles into the inactivation zone so as to expose the charged airborne particles to plasma in the inactivation zone.

    摘要: Apparatus for the production of a product gas (eg hydrogen and ozone) comprises: a supply of reactant gas (eg oxygen and steam) (14); a pair of electrodes (24) with a space between them of less than 1 mm (28); a conduit to lead the reactant gas from the source through the space between the electrodes; a power source (26) to apply a voltage across the electrodes to dissociate the reactant gas and ultimately permit formation of product gas; and a conduit (40) to supply the product gas to an outlet. A sterilization unit for water treatment employs such apparatus and includes a fluidic oscillator to oscillate the flow of oxygen and/or ozone, and wherein said outlet comprises a plurality of orifices (42) to be submerged in said water and for the purpose of forming micro bubbles of ozone. An analyzer for detecting large organic molecules in eg air can employ the ozone generator to breakdown the large molecule into simpler and easier-to-detect-and-identify molecules.
