摘要: A microfluidic purification device for exosomes purification is disclosed that has high speed, high viability and efficiency plus re-cycling of cells for regrowth of exosomes. The microfluidic purification device contains coarse filtering, and/or medium filtering plus fine filter with the medium/fine filter made of MEMS semiconductor process. For high-speed operation, an ultrasound vibrator attached to input chamber/filter/output chamber assembly is also used that the vibration amplitude, duty cycle and duration can be controlled through controller. The MEMS filter is V-shaped and/or funnel shape made of silicon wafer by semiconductor process. For funnel shape MEMS filter, the exit hole size is between 0.2 μm to 1 μm suitable for exosomes filtering with high speed and high viability.

摘要: Rotating coalescer elements that maximize the radial-projected separation surface area in a given (rotating) cylindrical volume, where flow to be cleaned is passing axially upward or downward through a separating media of the rotating coalescer element. Various example package assemblies are provided with various types of rotating configurations including cylindrical coiled media packs, frustum coiled media packs, concentric cylinders, coiled metal or polymer films with and without perforations, and/or alternating layers of different materials. The described rotating coalescers may be driven by hydraulic turbine, electric motor, belt, gear or by mounting on rotating machine components, such as rotating engine shafts or connected components.

Methods include applying a buffer solution to only the porous inorganic material of the skin and coating the porous inorganic material of the skin with an oxide slurry. The oxide slurry includes an oxide or a precursor of the oxide configured to increase the isostatic strength of the honeycomb body. After treatment, the honeycomb body may be dried.

摘要: A honeycomb filter includes a pillar-shaped honeycomb structure body having a porous partition wall disposed to surround a plurality of cells and a plugging portion, wherein the partition wall is composed of a material containing cordierite as a main component thereof, porosity of the partition wall measured by a mercury press-in method is 60 to 68%, an average pore diameter of the partition wall measured by a mercury press-in method is 13 to 18 μm, and in a pore diameter distribution indicating a cumulative pore volume of the partition wall measured by a mercury press-in method, with a pore diameter (μm) on an abscissa axis and a log differential pore volume (cm3/g) on an ordinate axis, a first peak including a maximum value of the log differential pore volume has a pore diameter value of 15 μm or less, the pore diameter value corresponding to a ⅓ value width of the maximum value.

摘要: A filter element, useful for filtering molten metals and the like, is made from a precursor or template (10) having at least two layers (20). Each layer is assembled from three-dimensional geometric cages (22), joined in fixed relationship to each other: Some embodiments include a peripheral member (26) that encompasses the layer. In such cases, spacer members (28) can span the peripheral members to hold the layers in fixed spaced-apart relationship. In other embodiments, at least some of the cages in adjacent layers can be joined in fixed relationship, providing the spaced-apart relationship. The cages can be built from linear segments of a material joined in a pattern based on the edges of the geometric solid. The template may be formed by an automated technique, such as three-dimensional printing. If manufactured from a polymer, the precursor is coated with a ceramic slurry and calcined to provide the filter element.
