摘要: The present invention refers to a waterproofing composition to be applied on any surface desired to be protected or on damaged surfaces in order to avoid moisture or water leakages to the inside of the rooms. The composition comprises or consists essentially of 30 to 40% Portland cement or Kaolin; 20 to 30% marble dust or silica sand, 25 to 35% lime and 3 to 12% ground salt, alum stone or calcium chloride. The resulting talcum texture powder is mixed with water and applied as paint.

摘要: Storage stable asphalt paving pellets that contain recycled asphalt shingle material and, optionally, RAP fines, ground tire rubber, and the like. Methods for making and utilizing the storage stable asphalt paving pellets are also disclosed. A typical pellet includes a core and an outer shell. The core may include recycled asphalt shingle material and an asphalt binder material (e.g., bitumen). The outer shell, which may include a number of different materials such as, but not limited to, mineral fines, ground plastic fines, clays, and the like, is configured to prevent the asphalt pellets from sticking to each other or to adjacent surfaces during storage. The storage stable asphalt paving pellets can be manufactured at a central facility and then stored at a job site, a warehouse, or the like until they are needed for the preparation of asphalt paving material.

摘要: The present invention provides a water-based lime dispersion paint comprising a binder, a pulverulent, and one or more adjuvants. The binder comprises a film-forming copolymer of an alkyl acrylate monomer and a nonionic ethylenic monomer. The copolymer is dispersed in an aqueous medium and the dispersion is stable at a basic pH. The nonionic ethylenic monomer is capable of forming a homopolymer having a glass transition temperature in the range of 70.degree. C. to 170.degree. C. The pulverulent material comprises one or more pigments and airy slaked lime having a low hydraulicity index. The adjuvants are stable at a basic pH and include D-sorbitol as a stabilizer.

摘要: A composition of matter enhances friction of a surface covered with snow or ice. The composition includes particles of limestone and particles of volcanic rock, the particles having a size in a range of about 0.125-1.0 inches, and more preferably 0.125-0.25 inches. Limestone is present in the composition in a percentage of about 53-67%, by weight, and volcanic rock is present in a percentage of about 33-47%, by weight. The components are thoroughly mixed to form a homogeneous mixture. When the composition is applied to a snow-covered or ice-covered surface, the coefficient of friction of the surface increases so much that the surface can be considered a “non-slip” surface.
