摘要: The present invention concerns a zeolitic adsorbent agglomerate comprising at least one zeolite of faujasite type comprising sodium and/or lithium and/or calcium, and/or barium and/or potassium, of porosity between 25% and 45%, and having a standard deviation σ of crystal size distribution in said agglomerate of less than 0.30 μm. The invention also concerns the use of the zeolitic adsorbent agglomerate to separate hydrocarbon mixtures, and the process to separate hydrocarbon mixtures using said zeolitic adsorbent agglomerate.

摘要: A composite adsorbent for separating ethylbenzene from C8 arene by an adsorption distillation contains 1-50 mass % of a xylene adsorbent and 50-99 mass % of a carrier liquid. The carrier liquid is selected from one or two of alkane, aryl-substituted alkane, decalin and alkyl-substituted decalin. The alkane is C10-C26 alkane, and the aryl-substituted alkane is C13-C16 aryl-substituted alkane. The composite adsorbent can increase the volatility of ethylbenzene relative to other C8 arenes and thus can separate a high-purity ethylbenzene from C8 arene by the adsorption distillation.

摘要: A method for reducing carbon dioxide to manufacture a multi-carbon hydrocarbon compound includes steps as follows. A reduction reaction with separation and purification system is provided, which includes a carbon dioxide absorption tower, a reactor, a gas-liquid separation device, a liquid-phase purification device and a gas-phase purification device. An absorption step is performed, wherein a carbon dioxide gas is absorbed to form a mixed solution. A photocatalysis step is performed, wherein the mixed solution is reacted with a photocatalyst to form a carbon-based compound. A separation step is performed, wherein the carbon-based compound is separated to form a liquid-phase mixture and a gas-phase mixture. A liquid-phase purification step is performed, wherein the liquid-phase mixture is purified. A gas-phase purification step is performed, wherein the gas-phase mixture is separated and purified to form a multi-carbon hydrocarbon compound.

摘要: A multi-stage process to remove contaminant gases from raw methane streams is provided. The present technology is an innovative solution to recover and purify biogas by use of a process having at least two pressure swing adsorption stages. Taking advantage of the presence of carbon dioxide in the raw biogas streams, nitrogen and oxygen are bulky removed in the first stage, using selective adsorbents, and a nitrogen and oxygen-depleted intermediate stream is yielded to the second stage. The second stage employs an adsorbent or adsorbents to selectively remove carbon dioxide and trace amounts of remaining nitrogen and oxygen, thus producing a purer methane stream that meets pipeline and natural gas specifications.
