摘要: A single electrode pair electrochemical cell (20) includes an anode foil substrate (26) having a first active material (28) pasted on an inward facing side, a cathode foil substrate (22) having a second active material (24) pasted on an inward facing side, a separator sheet (30) disposed between the anode and the cathode, a sealing material (40) such as a hot melt sealant or pressure sensitive adhesive that is disposed along the perimeter of the foils (22, 26), and an electrolyte sealed between the substrates by the sealing material. In addition, a thin plastic film frame (60) is embedded into the sealing material (40) such that it extends out beyond the perimeter of the substrates.

摘要: A battery cell includes a cell body and a housing. The housing defines an accommodation cavity. The cell body is accommodated in the accommodation cavity. The housing includes an injection port communicating with the accommodation cavity. The battery cell further includes: a sealing pin, vertically mounted at the injection port and fixed to the housing. The sealing pin includes a first through-hole, and the first through-hole communicates with the accommodation cavity; a thermally deformable piece, filling in the first through-hole and fixed to the sealing pin; and an elastic element. The elastic element includes a second through-hole and is set around the sealing pin through the second through-hole and fixed to the injection port. The thermally deformable piece deforms when a temperature is higher than a preset threshold, so that a pressure relief channel communicating with both ends of the first through-hole is formed in the first through-hole.

The sealing material includes a first ring that is conductive, a second ring that is conductive and joined to the first ring, a terminal plate that is conductive provided between the first ring and the second ring, and an insulation ring insulating the first ring and the second ring from the terminal plate. An outer peripheral edge of the terminal plate is held between the first ring and the second ring with the insulation ring being put therebetween.

A restraint member includes: a binding bar extending in a first direction; and an abutment member located on the plurality of battery cells side with respect to the binding bar, the abutment member being in abutment with the separator at a first position and a second position to form an air flow path, the first position and the second position being separated from each other along a third direction. The first position is located on a side close to an upper surface of a housing with respect to the second position. The protrusion is disposed only at the second position, and is provided to interfere with the abutment member at the second position so as to compress and deform the abutment member.
