In at least certain embodiments, the instant disclosure is directed to surfactants or other additives for use with a battery separator for use in a lead acid battery, to battery separators with a surfactant or other additive, and/or to batteries including such separators. In at least certain select embodiments, the instant disclosure relates to new or improved lead acid battery separators and/or systems including improved water loss technology and/or methods of manufacture and/or use thereof. In at least select embodiments, the instant disclosure is directed toward a new or improved lead acid battery separator or system with one or more surfactants and/or additives, and/or methods for constructing lead acid battery separators and batteries with such surfactants and/or additives for improving and/or reducing water loss from the battery.

摘要: A battery includes an electrode assembly including a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate. A first adhesive layer is provided between the positive electrode plate and the separator, and a second adhesive layer is provided between the negative electrode plate and the separator. A coating weight of the first adhesive layer is smaller than a coating weight of the second adhesive layer, and a total of the coating weight of the first adhesive layer and the coating weight of the second adhesive layer is more than or equal to 0.03 g/m2 and less than or equal to 0.15 g/m2.

摘要: A positive electrode active composite for lithium-ion batteries, consisting of 60%-99% by weight of a lithium iron phosphate material with an olivine structure and 1%-40% by weight of a layered ternary material. A lithium-ion battery, whose positive electrode includes such active composite, is provided, and in normal use, an upper voltage range is controlled between 3.8-4.0 V. When there is a certain capacity attenuation, a battery voltage can be increased to a range of greater than or equal to 4.1 V and less than or equal to 4.4 V for activation. Under the activation voltage, the lithium-rich ternary material can compensate for the active lithium loss after the battery aging.

A formation process may be used for the electrochemical cell, with the processing including at least a charge step that includes providing a formation charge current at greater than about 1C to the electrochemical cell, where providing the formation charge current includes charging to a partial formation.

摘要: A battery pack includes: a plurality of battery cells arranged in a line in one arrangement direction; a pair of end plates disposed at opposite ends of the plurality of battery cells in the arrangement direction; a pair of binding bars disposed on opposite sides of the plurality of battery cells in a direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction; and an insulator disposed in a gap between each of the binding bars and the battery cells. The insulator having an initial thickness larger than a thickness of the gap before insertion of the insulator into the gap in a compressed state. The end plates sandwich the battery cells therebetween in the arrangement direction, and the binding bars sandwich the battery cells therebetween in the direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction.
