After the rinsing processing is completed, the rotation speed of the substrate is reduced from 600 rpm to 10 rpm to form a puddle-like DIW liquid film. After the supply of DIW is stopped, the control unit waits for a predetermined time (0.5 seconds) so that the film thickness t1 of the puddle-like liquid film becomes approximately uniform. Then, IPA is discharged to a central part of the surface of the substrate at a flow rate of 100 (mL/min) for instance. By the supply of IPA, DIW is replaced with IPA at the central part of the surface of the substrate to form a replaced region. Further, after three seconds of IPA supply, the rotation speed of the substrate is accelerated from 10 rpm to 300 rpm. This causes the replaced region to expand in a radial direction of the substrate so that the entire surface of the substrate is replaced with the low surface-tension solvent.

A vehicle has an engine, a starter motor, an energy storage system (ESS) for powering an auxiliary system, and a supercapacitor module for powering the starter motor during engine cranking and starting. The supercapacitor module disconnects from the starter motor to recharge. A DC-DC booster converter increases the level of voltage supplied from the ESS so as to charge the supercapacitor module to a relatively higher voltage level, such as approximately 125 to 140 percent of the voltage level supplied by the ESS. A method for preventing voltage sag in an auxiliary system of the vehicle includes disconnecting the supercapacitor module from the starter motor when the engine is running, and then charging the supercapacitor module using the ESS until a cranking support voltage equals a stored target voltage. A detected commanded cranking and starting of the engine causes the connection of the supercapacitor module to the starter motor.

The present disclosure relates to a high burst slider zipper which allows for bottom filling of reclosable packages, such as large bags, and further provides increased resistance to damage from the dropping or shock loading of the filled package. This is achieved by providing a peel seal or other frangible or separable connection between the zipper profiles, and by sealing a portion of one of the flanges to itself by a hard seal above the peel seal. This causes the external forces on a bag from bottom filling or shock loading to be directed toward the hard seal and further directed so as to cause a shear force against the peel seal, thereby increasing the resistance of the package to external forces.

Wireless devices, such as field devices or repeater/relay nodes, detect the presence of anomalies in data packets that suggest intrusion. Upon detection of an anomaly, a wireless device sends a notification to a sentinel device, which determines if intrusion may be occurring. If so, the sentinel device downloads a spy routine to at least one of the wireless devices, which enables further investigation into and/or isolation of the intrusion. Since the spy routine is downloaded to the wireless devices, the spy routine can be used in conjunction with memory-constrained wireless devices. Memory-constrained wireless devices may lack adequate memory for storing both a main application executed during normal operation and the spy routine. The spy routine could overwrite one or more modules of the main application. Once executed, the spy routine could itself be overwritten by the one or more modules, allowing the wireless device to return to normal operation.

Detecting attacks against computer systems by automatically detecting signatures based on predetermined characteristics of the intrusion. One aspect looks for commonalities among a number of different network messages, and establishes an intrusion signature based on those commonalities. Data reduction techniques, such as a hash function, are used to minimize the amount of resources which are necessary to establish the commonalities. In an embodiment, signatures are created based on the data reduction hash technique. Frequent signatures are found by reducing the signatures using that hash technique. Each of the frequent signatures is analyzed for content, and content which is spreading is flagged as being a possible attack. Additional checks can also be carried out to look for code within the signal, to look for spam, backdoors, or program code.
