Abstract:
Granulates of a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate in a molar ratio of ethylene to vinyl acetate of from 10:1 to 1:2 coated with an aqueous dispersion of a polymer based on at least one methacrylic acid ester and, optionally, at least one ethyleneically unsaturated compound and process of producing the same.
Abstract:
A sheet-form product having a thickness from 10 Mu to 1 mm. comprising a matted together fused plurality of hollow beads, said hollow beads prior to matting and fusing having a diameter of from 10 Mu to 3 mm. and comprising a copolymer of (a) 70 to 92 parts by weight of vinyl chloride and (b) 30 to 8 parts by weight of ethylene or 30 to 8 parts by weight of a mixture of ethylene and propylene containing 0.1 to 15 parts by weight of propylene. These products are useful as substitutes for paper, fleeces and nonwoven fabrics.
Abstract:

Abstract:
THERMALLY STABLE VINYL CHLORIDE COPOLYMERS ARE OBTAINED BY COPOLYMERISING FROM 65 TO 98.9 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF VINYL CHLORIDE, FROM 3 TO 210 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF AT LEAST ONE A-OLEFIN AND FROM 0.5 TO 5 PARTS BY WEIGHT BY A MONOALLYL OR DIALLYL ETHER OF A POLYHYDRIC ALCOHOL; SAID ETHER CONTAINS AT LEAST ONE HYDROXYL GROUP. POLYMERISING OCCURS IN BULK, EMULSION OR SUSPENSION AT A TEMPERATURE OF FROM 0 TO 60*C. AND AT A PRESSURE OF FROM 5 TO 200 ATMS. AND IN THE PRESENCE OF A RADICAL INITIATOR.
