Abstract: A control module is arranged side by side with a battery module. The control module includes a bus bar by which the battery module and an electric load are electrically connected to each other; a switch by which an electrical connection between the bus bar and the electric load is switched on and off; a current sensor by which a current of the bus bar is detected; and a shielding part. The current sensor detects current passing through the bus par by converting, to an electrical signal, a magnetic field generated by the current passing though the bus bar. The switch generates a magnetic field to switch over connections between the bus bar and the electric load based on the generated magnetic field. The shielding part is arranged between the current sensor and the switch.

The connection terminal is disposed so as to be positioned in an area corresponding to a width of the switching device in a direction in which the electrode terminals are arranged in line and in an area extending to a periphery of the switching device in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the electrode terminals are arranged in line.

Abstract: A battery pack includes a plurality of battery stacks integrated by stacking a plurality of unit batteries, a fluid passage where fluid flows for cooling the unit batteries disposed between the battery stacks, a blower for circulating the fluid in the fluid passage, and a plurality of heat conducting plates. The heat conducting plate is thermally connected to an outer casing of the unit batteries constituting the battery stacks adjacent to each other, and disposed so as to constitute a plurality of cooled portions of which parts thereof exist in the fluid passage. The battery pack includes a passage forming member that demarcates the fluid passage as an independent passage from the area near the outer casing of the unit battery, and includes a partition wall for supporting the heat conducting plate.

Abstract: A battery pack includes a housing accommodating a plurality of batteries and a blower. A control unit manages the temperature of the batteries according to the battery temperature provided by a temperature detector. When the battery temperature becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined cooling required temperature, the control unit executes a cooling mode of operating the blower to cool the batteries. The control unit executes a temperature equalizing mode of operating the blower to equalize the temperature inside the housing by causing the fluid flowing through the circulation path even when the battery temperature is lower than the cooling required temperature and the cooling is unnecessary.

Abstract: An inner case affixes single cells and has multiple individual storage chambers. A fluid drive device draws a fluid after passing through the individual storage chambers to form a circulation flow. A beam supports the inner case from the lower side. The inner case has an inlet port into which the fluid flows and an outlet port through which the fluid flows out. A downstream chamber, which communicates with the outlet port, is formed in an interior of the inner case between the individual storage chambers that face each other at a distance. The downstream side chamber is connected to a lower wall side passage partitioned by the beams. The fluid flowing out from the outlet port to the downstream side chamber passes through the lower wall side passage and is drawn into an intake port of the fluid drive device.

Abstract: A battery cooling apparatus includes a case for housing battery cells and a fan device disposed in the case for blowing air through a circulation passage to cool the battery cells. The case includes a discharge passage which makes communication between inside and outside of the case to allow part of the air circulating through the circulation passage to leak to outside the case. The fan device includes a first inflow passage and a second inflow passage. The first inflow passage, which is part of the circulation passage, is provided to allow the air having cooled the battery cells to be sucked into the fan device.
