Abstract: A battery pack includes a housing accommodating a plurality of batteries and a blower. A control unit manages the temperature of the batteries according to the battery temperature provided by a temperature detector. When the battery temperature becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined cooling required temperature, the control unit executes a cooling mode of operating the blower to cool the batteries. The control unit executes a temperature equalizing mode of operating the blower to equalize the temperature inside the housing by causing the fluid flowing through the circulation path even when the battery temperature is lower than the cooling required temperature and the cooling is unnecessary.

Abstract: A battery management system includes a usage history acquisition unit, a deterioration estimation unit, a battery load acquisition unit, a deterioration change degree identification unit, and a battery management unit. The usage history acquisition unit acquires usage history information. The deterioration estimation unit estimates a current deterioration state and a deterioration factor of the secondary battery based on the usage history information. The battery load acquisition unit acquires battery load information indicating a future battery load. The deterioration change degree identification unit identifies a deterioration change degree by using the current deterioration state, the deterioration factor and the battery load information of the secondary battery. The battery management unit uses the deterioration change degree to associate secondary batteries with future use modes so that an evaluation value indicating a degree of deterioration of the secondary battery in use devices becomes a minimum value.

Abstract: A battery diagnostic system includes an interpolation processing unit, a degradation estimation unit, a degradation prediction unit, and an output unit. When a part of the battery load history is missing, the interpolation processing unit interpolates the missing part using the rest of the constituent data. Abstract: A battery pack includes a plurality of battery cells, case (housing), circulation path, and blower. The circulation path includes battery paths, inflow side space, outflow side space, and a path along the housing. The battery paths are formed by gaps between adjacent battery cells. The inflow side space distributes fluid to the inlets of the battery paths. The outflow side space gathers fluid from the outlets of the battery paths. The path along the housing is a path that is different from the inflow side space and outflow side space and extends along one or more inner surfaces of the case. The circulation path is formed such that at least one of a flow velocity of the fluid in the inflow side space and a flow velocity of the fluid in the outflow side space is slower than a flow velocity of the fluid in the path along the housing.

An upstream side passage and a downstream side passage are formed between the bus bars and the cover member. Upstream side wall surfaces forming an inlet part of the upstream side passage or downstream side wall surfaces forming an outlet part of the downstream side passage is arranged at a location closer to the battery cell side than a location of a surface of the bus bar side.
