摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet which is excellent in adhesion with a hot-dip galvanized zinc layer, and has high tensile strength and good formability even when a steel sheet containing Si and Mn in relatively larger amounts is used as a basis steel sheet. The hot-dip galvanized steel sheet is composed of: a basis steel sheet containing Si in an amount of 0.05 to 2.5% and Mn in an amount of 0.2 to 3%, by mass; a Fe plated layer formed on the basis steel sheet; and a hot-dip galvanized zinc layer formed on the surface layer of the basis steel sheet via the Fe plated layer, wherein oxides containing Si and/or Mn are discontinuously dispersed in the vicinity of the interface between the basis steel sheet and the Fe plated layer.

摘要: A hot-dip galvanized steel sheet composed of a basis steel sheet containing Si in an amount of 0.05-2.5 mass % and Mn in an amount of 0.2-3 mass % and a hot-dip galvanized zinc layer formed on the surface thereof, wherein said hot-dip galvanized zinc layer is formed in such a way that there is an Si—Mn enriched phase which is found, by observation under a scanning electron microscope or a transmission electron microscope, in the vicinity of the interface in a region no shorter than 50 &mgr;m in the cross section perpendicular to the interface between the basis steel sheet and the hot-dip galvanized zinc layer, said Si—Mn enriched phase containing more than twice as much Si and/or Mn as the basis steel sheet and extending over a length no more than 80% of the length of the interface observed. This hot-dip galvanized steel sheet is free of bare spots even in the case where the basis steel sheet contains Si and Mn in a comparatively large amount and hence is liable to suffering bare spots.

摘要: An exhaust system includes: an exhaust pressure controller interposed in an exhaust passage and including: a pipe body including a side peripheral wall in which at least one port is formed; and a gas introduction wall for introducing an exhaust gas flowing from an upstream side of the pipe body so that the exhaust gas flows downstream without coming into direct contact with the port and vicinity thereof, one face of the gas introduction wall forming a pressure control path together with an inner face of the side peripheral wall while another face of the gas introduction wall forming an exhaust gas path along which the exhaust gas flows. The port communicates with the pressure control path, and the pressure control path communicates with the exhaust gas path at part downstream of the port.

摘要: A low noise chain drive of this invention includes toothed sprockets and an endless silent chain having sets of link plates successively connected for articulation by means of connecting members. Each set has a plurality of transversely aligned link plates with each having a pair of link plate teeth designed to engage the sprocket and a pair of openings through which the connecting members are inserted. The link plate teeth are defined by an outside flank and an inside flank. The sprocket has sprocket teeth defined by a sprocket tooth flank. The sprocket tooth flanks and the outside flanks are profiled such that the outside flanks have a swelling located between the tip of the link plate tooth and a point that is in contact with the sprocket tooth after the completion of the engagement. The swellings are formed such that when one link plate set rotates around a rotational axis relative to the preceding set having completed the engagement with the sprocket, the swellings of the one link plate set project outwardly from a circle defined by the minimum radius centering on the rotational axis and osculating the sprocket tooth flank to be meshed with the outside flank located on the trailing side of the one link plate set. The link plate teeth stay in sliding contact at their outside flanks with the sprocket teeth from the beginning of their engaging process through its completion to thereby ease engagement impacts and noises.
