摘要: In the plasma reaction vessel (1) of the invention, two or more laminate-structures (6) having ceramic formed bodies (3, 4) in which a plasma generating electrode (2) capable of generating plasma is formed in two-tape-form, and an electrically continuous film-like electrically conductive electrode (5) held between the two ceramic formed bodies (3, 4) are formed in such a manner as to form a plasma generating space (7) containing mutual laminate planes therein. Of the electrically conductive electrodes (5), adjacent ones are capable of having electric discharge produced therebetween so as to generate the plasma in the plasma generating space (7) and of generating uniform stabilized plasma at low electric power, it being possible to reduce a passage resistance to a gas passing therein.

摘要: There is disclosed a catalytic body with purifying efficiency and smaller pressure loss and its manufacturing method. Provided is a catalytic body wherein a porous honeycomb structure including partition walls defining a plurality of cells acting as fluid passages which extend through the honeycomb structure from one end surface to the other end surface thereof is formed of at least one type of (a) a catalytic substance and (b) a substance including an oxide and at least one type of noble metal carried on the oxide. The catalytic converter is characterized in that (c) 10% or more of a plurality of cells are plugged by plugging parts formed at one ends or in the middles of passages, that (d) the average pore diameter of the honeycomb structure is 10 μm or more, or that (e) the porosity is 40% or more.

摘要: A honeycomb filter of the present invention is a honeycomb filter 10 including a number of through-holes 12 surrounded by partition walls and extending through an axial direction, in which the partition walls have filterability, predetermined through-holes 12 are plugged at one end portion, and the remaining through-holes 12 are plugged at the other end portion to trap particulate matter contained in a dust-containing fluid. The honeycomb filter is characterized in that a heat capacity of a central part 11 is set to be larger than that of a peripheral part 13 in a section of the honeycomb filter 10 perpendicular to the axial direction. There is provided a honeycomb filter in which a crack is not generated by thermal stress during use, especially at a regeneration time and which is superior in durability.
