The power transistor is constructed in a plurality of layers formed over a semiconductor substrate. The thermocouple includes a p-thermopile and an n-thermopile that are each electrically isolated from the power transistor and the semiconductor substrate while being sensitive to temperature differences within the IC resulting from operation of the power transistor. The p-thermopile includes a p-type thermoelectric body formed in a p-type one or more of the plurality of layers. 摘要: A battery for a vehicle and a method for controlling the same are provided. The battery includes a housing in which a plurality of battery cells are disposed and a thermoelectric element that is disposed between the plurality of battery cells and provided with electrodes connected in a zigzag configuration. Since heat flows in a lengthwise direction of the battery cells, heat transfer efficiency with respect to the battery cells is significantly improved. By directly attaching the thermoelectric element to the battery cell, a gap between the battery cells is reduced, and a temperature of each battery cell is individually managed with ease.

摘要: A thermoelectric generator includes a tube in which a first fluid flows, a power generation module, a holding member, and a heat exchanging fin. The power generation module includes a thermoelectric conversion element. The holding member holds a stacked body in which the power generation module and the tube are stacked with each other such that heat can be transferred between the power generation module and the tube. Both end portions of the holding member are located and fixed outside both ends of the stacked body. The heat exchanging fin includes a pair of end fin portions provided on the reverse surface of the holding member at portions corresponding to the both ends of the stacked body, and an intermediate fin located between the pair of end fin portions and higher in stiffness than the pair of end fin portions.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for forming a thermoelectric device, comprising providing a semiconductor substrate and providing a first layer of an etching material adjacent to the semiconductor substrate. The etching material facilitates the etching of the semiconductor substrate upon exposure to an oxidizing agent and a chemical etchant. Next, a second layer of a semiconductor oxide is provided adjacent to the first layer, and the second layer is patterned to form a pattern of holes or wires. The second layer and first layer are then sequentially etched to expose portions of the semiconductor substrate. Exposed portions of the semiconductor substrate are then contacted with an oxidizing agent and a chemical etchant to transfer the pattern to the semiconductor substrate.
