摘要: The present invention provides a liquid stabilizer that can provide a formed article excellent in both of transparency and heat resistance, and that is useful as a tin-free stabilizer. The present invention also provides a chlorine-containing resin composition using this stabilizer and a formed body using this stabilizer. The present invention is a liquid stabilizer for a chlorine-containing resin, comprising a zinc toluate and an overbased barium salt, wherein the content of the zinc toluate and the content of the overbased barium salt are 1 to 50% by mass and 50 to 99% by mass, respectively, based on a total amount of the zinc toluate and the overbased barium salt of 100% by mass.

摘要: The invention provides a polycondensation catalyst for producing polyester by an esterification reaction or a transesterification reaction between a dicarboxylic acid or ester-forming derivative thereof and a glycol, wherein the polycondensation catalyst comprises particles of a solid base having on their surfaces either a coat layer of titanic acid in an amount of from 0.1 to 50 parts by weight in terms of TiO2 per 100 parts by weight of the solid base, or an inner coat layer of an oxide of at least one element selected from silicon, aluminum and zirconium or a composite oxide of at least two elements selected from silicon, aluminum and zirconium in an amount of from 1 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the solid base and an outer coat layer of titanic acid in an amount of from 0.1 to 50 parts by weight in terms of TiO2 per 100 parts by weight of the solid base.

摘要: The invention provides a method for producing an organic solvent dispersion of titanium oxide particles in an organic solvent except methanol and ethanol, comprising: (a) a surface treating process for surface treating an alcohol dispersion of titanium oxide particles in at least one alcohol solvent selected from the group consisting of methanol and ethanol with a surface treating agent comprising a silane coupling agent and 12-hydroxystearic acid thereby surface treating the titanium oxide particles; and (b) a solvent replacing process for replacing the alcohol solvent that is a dispersion medium of the alcohol dispersion of titanium oxide particles by the organic solvent except methanol and ethanol, wherein the silane coupling agent has the general formula (I) (RO)n—Si—X4-n (I) wherein R is an alkyl group having carbon atoms of 1-4, n is 2 or 3, X is an alkyl, a fluoroalkyl, a vinyl or a (meth)acryloyloxyalkyl group.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide magnesium oxide particles that have a high heat conductivity and excellent properties as heat-dissipating filler, and can prevent problems such as soft errors in the memory. The magnesium oxide particles have a BET specific surface area of 0.1 to 17 m2/g, and an α dose of 0.005 c/cm2·Hr or lower, the particles exhibiting a relation between an X-ray diffraction peak intensity y (cps) at a Bragg angle (2θ) of 42.80° to 43.00° and the BET specific surface area x (m2/g) as represented by the following inequality (1): y≧−960x+33000 (1).
