    摘要: A novel solid-state imaging device is provided which has a first color picture cell array containing picture cells having a photo-electric converting element for converting incident light to electric signals arranged two-dimensionally, and a second color picture cell array containing picture cells having a photo-electric converting element for converting incident light to electric signals arranged two-dimensionally, placed in juxtaposition, on a substrate. The solid-state imaging device is characterized in that a common well is provided to be common to the first color picture cell array and the second color picture cell array. A well-wiring and a well-contact may be provided as necessary between the first color picture cell array and the second color picture cell array.

    摘要: A pair of primary and secondary mechanical seals are arranged tandem in an axial direction around a rotating shaft in a space between the rotating shaft and a housing having a shaft sealing part. The center or intermediate liquid is sealed into a center room or intermediate chamber between both mechanical seals. The center liquid has an amount that is less than the volume of the center room and enough to soak one part of rotating elements of the secondary mechanical seal. The gas vent line is provided with the housing of the shaft sealing part. The gas vent line faces and opens to the center room. The baffle plate is provided with the housing of the shaft sealing part. The baffle plate intersects a circumferential direction of the center room. Thus, when rotating the rotating shaft, the center liquid is stirred and scattered by collision with the baffle plate to lubricate the sealed slide surface. The vaporized gas from the sealed liquid, which is leaked from the primary mechanical seal to the center room, does not collect in the inner circumferential part of the center room. It does not form a gas zone. It is discharged from the gas vent line.

    摘要: An oil strainer head is attached to an oil suction pipe using a machined bulge flange in the pipe. A connection flange on the oil strainer head is fitted over the lower end of the pipe below the bulge flange. The bulge flange is then crimped in an outward curve to deform the connection flange into a corresponding outward curve captured within the crimped lower end. This structure eliminates the need for reinforcement and welding and produces a strong, non-leaking joint that reduces the number of parts and manufacturing operations.

    摘要: In a CMOS area sensor, in order to enable an image signal of only a portion in the area to be read out on a block unit basis, there is provided a photoelectric converting apparatus of an amplifying type having two-dimensional sensor pixels, a transfer circuit for transferring pixel signals of the sensor pixels, and two-dimensional memory pixels for recording the transferred pixel signals, wherein two switches for writing or resetting are provided for at least ones of the sensor pixels and the memory pixels, one of the switches is controlled by a vertical selection circuit, and the other switch is controlled by a horizontal selection circuit. There is also provided a photoelectric converting apparatus having line sensor pixels, a transfer circuit for transferring pixels of the line sensor, and memory pixels of at least the same number as that of the line sensor pixels for recording an output of the transfer circuit, wherein switches for writing or resetting are provided for at least ones of the line sensor pixels and the memory pixels and are controlled by a selection circuit for selecting a predetermined number of pixels.

    摘要: A process for preparing a biodegradable water-resistant film. The process includes the steps of dispersing zein in an aqueous solution comprising acetone in an amount of from 65 to 75% by volume to form a zein dispersion, forming the resulting zein dispersion into a film, and drying the film in an atmosphere having a relative humidity of 85% or less at an initial temperature of 55.degree. C. or less. The present invention also relates to a method for imparting water resistance to an article with poor water resistance by coating the article with the zein dispersion prepared as above, and drying the coated zein dispersion under the above conditions. The film or coating film according of the present invention neither dissolves upon contact with water, nor becomes weak due to water absorption or swelling on contact with water.

The potentials of the first main electrode areas and of the drive line are elevated during the light signal accumulating operation to elevate the potential of the control electrode area, thereby rendering the potential difference between the control electrode area and the second main electrode area smaller than at the end of charge resetting of the control electrode area.
