    摘要: A method and apparatus is provided for transmitting a WDM optical signal. The method begins by modulating an odd number of optical channels that are each located at a different wavelength from one another with (1) a respective one of a plurality of information-bearing electrical signals that all embody the same broadcast information and (2) a respective one of a plurality of RF signals having a common functional broadcast waveform, at least one of the RF signals being out of phase with respect to remaining ones of the plurality of RF signals. Each of the modulated optical channels are multiplexed to form a WDM optical signal. The WDM optical signal is forwarded onto an optical transmission path.

    摘要: Techniques for minimizing call setup latency are disclosed. In one aspect, a channel assignment message is sent with a flag to direct the use of previously negotiated service parameters. This aspect eliminates the need for service negotiation messages. In another aspect, a channel assignment message is sent with an active set identifier instead of an active set and its parameters. This aspect reduces the transmission time of the channel assignment message. In yet another aspect, call setup without paging is facilitated by a mobile station (106) sending a pilot strength measurement message between active communication sessions, such that a channel assignment message can be used for mobile station terminated call setup without the need for mobile station paging and related messages.

    摘要: The invention discloses a series of Methanococcus jannaschii S-adenosylmethionine synthetase mutants with improved thermostability and high catalytic activity obtained by using gene mutation technique, characterized in that these mutants refer to an enzyme using Sequence 2 in the Sequence Listing as the reference sequence and contains at least one mutation at position 102, position 93, position 230, and position 357 and has a catalytic activity at least 70% higher than that of the wild-type S-adenosylmethionine synthetase using adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and methionine as substrates. These S-adenosylmethionine synthetase mutants can be used in the production of S-adenosylmethionine.

The device for remote wake-up includes a processing element and a network module, wherein the network module includes a connection module, a receiving module, a determination module, and a wake-up module. In the method for remote wake-up, a local host firstly logins a network server. Then, the local host maintains connection with the network server after entering a suspend mode, and thereby the network position of the local host is determined. Thereafter, the local host receives a network packet and determines if the network packet is a network wake-up packet transmitted from a remote client and through the network server and. When the network packet is a network wake-up packet, the local host returns to normal operation mode.

    摘要: A late call forwarding method in the IMS centralized service. During a call setting up, an ICCF receives a call request from the CSCF serving the called user, called session A, and the ICCF acquires a called user's roaming number and initiates a call to the called user. After receiving the call request, the VMSC serving the called user triggers the late call forwarding service according its determination. A CAMEL service is triggered when the VMSC initiates a call to the forwarding target. The VMSC exchanges messages with the ICCF and informs the ICCE about session associated information and the forwarding reason. When the ICCF determines that the forwarding is needed, it sends a response to the session A does not send the response message, after a telecom application server (TAS) receives the indication, the TAS initiates a regular forwarding service.
