摘要: The invention relates to oligomerization of olefins, such as ethylene, to higher olefins, such as a mixture of 1-hexene and 1-octene, using a catalyst system that comprises a) a source of chromium b) one or more activators and c) a phosphacycle-containing ligating compound. Additionally, the invention relates to a phosphacycle-containing ligating compound and a process for making said compound.

摘要: A hybrid catalyst including a metal oxide catalyst component comprising chromium, zinc, and at least one additional metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum and gallium, and a microporous catalyst component that is a molecular sieve having 8-MR pore openings. The metal oxide catalyst component includes anatomic ratio of chromium:zinc (Cr:Zn) from 0.35 to 1.00, and the at least one additional metal is present in an amount from 25.0 at % to 40.0 at %. A process for preparing C2 and C3 olefins comprising: a) introducing a feed stream comprising hydrogen gas and a carbon-containing gas selected from the group consisting of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and mixtures thereof into a reaction zone of a reactor; and b) converting the feed stream into a product stream comprising C2 and C3 olefins in the reaction zone in the presence of said hybrid catalyst.

摘要: A supported riser apparatus may be housed at least partially within a vessel. The supported riser apparatus may include a riser including a non-vertical riser segment, a non-linear riser segment, and a vertical riser segment. The supported riser apparatus may further include a support member comprising a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of the support member may be connected to the non-vertical riser segment and the angle between the support member and the non-vertical riser segment may be from 15 to 75. The supported riser apparatus may include a support structure connected to the riser and the support member and an expansion guide connected to an interior surface of the vessel. The expansion guide may be shaped and positioned such that the support member slides across the expansion guide as the support member undergoes thermal expansion or thermal contraction.

摘要: A process for separating a catalyst component from a catalyst-containing slurry by centrifugation including separating the catalyst component from the mother liquor of the catalyst-containing slurry using a stacked disc centrifuge equipped with an auto-discharging functionality. The solids discharge from the stacked disc centrifuge is enhanced by adding a washing solution to the bowl and the solids discharge chute of the stacked disc centrifuge.
