Also, in some cases, the content provider may generate content provider metadata associated with image data. For example, the content provider metadata may indicate a location of a virtual camera associated with the respective image data and/or a location of one or more objects represented within the respective image data.

Abstract: A game system allows a user to play a game in a similar way to a game machine. The game system includes a server device, a game machine, and a network terminal device. Abstract: The invention concerns a method of interaction with an application executed by a piece of equipment separate from a client terminal implementing the method of interaction. One piece of subject matter of the invention is a method of interaction with an application, executed by a piece of equipment, providing a video stream displayed by a client terminal separate from the piece of equipment, the method of interaction comprising a transmission of a piece of position information suitable as an interaction position input parameter of the application, the suitable position information being dependent: —on a client position of a positional interface relative to an image of the video stream, —and proportional to the ratio between a resolution of the piece of equipment and a suitable client resolution. Therefore, interaction errors during the remote execution of an application are avoided, while limiting the network load and calculation costs, and maintaining the real-time character.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to the implementation of a gaming environment including gaming servers for instantiating instances of games requested by a user. The gaming environment includes a game device for obtaining game inputs corresponding to the instantiated game. Additionally, the gaming environment includes one or more output devices for obtaining outputs generated by the processing of the inputs by the gaming server. Illustratively, the game device and one or more output devices form game device groups. Within each game device group, the inputs obtained by game device are transmitted independent of the outputs transmitted to the output devices. The transmission of input data from the game device and the transmission of the output audio data, output video data or other data from the gaming server may be individually optimized.

Abstract: Methods and systems to identify options of secondary client devices for a device handover of game play include establishing a session of game play of a game for a primary client device by executing the game on a server for streaming video frames to the primary client device. A request is received to generate a profile of one or more secondary client devices that are identified to be local to the primary client device. The profile is configured to identify device attributes for the secondary client devices. A handover option is provided to the primary client device during game play, identifying one or more of the secondary client devices, based on the profile. A selection of a secondary client device identified by the handover option received from the primary client device causes pausing of the streaming of video frames to the primary client device, saving a game state for the game and providing an option to resume play of the game on the secondary client device. A resume request received from the secondary client device causes the game state for the game to be accessed and game play resumed so as to continue streaming video frames to the secondary client device.

Abstract: A cloud network server system, a method, and a software program product for experiencing a three-dimensional (3D) model are provided. 3D model data associated with a 3D video game is uploaded to the cloud network server system. The system and method are used to design for example a computer game that renders non-spatial characteristics such as, smell, reflection and/or refraction of light, wind direction, sound reflection, etc., along with spatial and visibility information associated with 3D objects displayed in the 3D video game. Different versions of the 3D model are created based on memory, streaming bandwidth, and/or processing power requirements of different user terminal computers. Based on a virtual location of a user in the 3D model, parts of at least one version of the 3D model are rendered to the user.

Abstract: On a server, a collision handler is called by a physics simulation engine to categorize a plurality of rigid bodies in some simulation data as either colliding or not colliding. The simulation data relates to a triggering event involving the plurality of rigid bodies and is generated by a simulation of both gravitational trajectories and collisions of rigid bodies. Based on the categorization and the simulation data, a synchronization engine generates synchronization packets for the colliding bodies only and transmits the packets to one or more client computing devices configured to perform a reduced simulation function.
