    摘要: A manufacturing method of a side view type light emitting device including a package body made of a synthetic resin material, the manufacturing method includes: providing an injection molding mold, for injection-molding the package body, including: a first mold provided with a first convex part for forming an upper surface side flat part on an upper surface of the package body; and a second mold provided with a first concave part for forming the upper surface side flat part; and fitting the first concave part around the first convex part so as to enter a liquid tight state with no space, injecting the synthetic resin material into each of the first and second molds so as to be filled therein, and hardening the synthetic resin material to form the package body in a state in which the first mold and the second mold are aligned with each other.

    摘要: A wide-angle camera and fabrication method thereof includes a sensor with a plurality of pixel sub-arrays and an array of optical elements on a first side of a substrate. Each of the optical elements is capable of forming an image from a field of view onto a different one of the pixel sub-arrays. The wide-angle camera also includes an array of achromatic doublet prisms on a second side of the substrate, where each of the achromatic doublet prisms is aligned to provide a viewing angle with a different one of the optical elements. The sensor captures a wide-angle field of view while having a compact format.

    摘要: A lighting assembly includes a light source and a lens. The lens includes a light transmissive portion and an optic shield portion for blocking or redirecting at least a portion of light generated by the light source. The light source can include one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs). The optic shield can be painted on or otherwise applied to a portion of the lens. Alternatively, it can be integrally formed with the lens. The optic shield can be an opaque material for blocking light generated by the light source or can be a reflective material for reflecting light generated by the light source through the light transmissive portion of the lens. Methods for making an optic shield are also described.

First recessed portions in the peripheral region are deeper than second recessed portions in the adjacent region.
