Abstract: This application discloses a housing, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric device, and pertains to the field of battery technologies. The housing has at least three edge portions intersecting at a same vertex. An indentation groove is provided on the housing, and the indentation groove intersects with at least two of the edge portions. Because the region near the edge portion of the housing has strong deformation resistance, the probability of abnormal cracking of the indentation groove due to creeping of the region in which the indentation groove is provided on the housing is reduced, thereby prolonging service life of the battery cell.

The binder with a core-shell structure includes the core structure of the rigid polymer. During cold pressing of a battery cell, the rigid polymer acts as a support, making a particle structure of the binder stable, that is, the rigid polymer acts as a support, resulting in an overall increase in the rigidity of the binder.

The first electrode terminal is mounted to the cover body, which can increase a distance between a joint between the cylinder and the cover plate and the first electrode terminal.
