摘要: A water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion ink for stencil printing is provided which is prevented from pigment aggregation and thus excellent in ink fixability, high in printing density and less declining in printing density even after printing many sheets. The emulsion ink has a ratio by volume of the water phase to liquid components of the oil phase (i.e., volume of water phase/volume of the liquid components of oil phase) in a range of 1.0 to 3.5, preferably 1.0 to 3.0 at 23° C. The liquid components of the oil phase may be composed of a resin, a solvent and a surfactant. The oil phase can contain a pigment at a ratio by volume of 0.19 or less to the total volume of the oil phase. The pigment preferably has an average particle size of 0.02 to 1.5 (&mgr;m). The water phase preferably has an average particle size of 0.1 to 1.0 (&mgr;m). The ink is suitable for containing particles of organic pigments with non-uniform shapes and a large average particle size like copper phthalocyanine blue and diaxazine violet.

摘要: In a printer control device, the number of documents to be copied and the number of recording sheets on a sheet supplying tray are detected and subjected to comparison, and when the number of recording sheets is smaller than the number of documents, a signal is generated to replenish the tray with recording sheets, whereby if the number of recording sheets on the tray is not sufficient to copy all the documents, the operator is informed of the shortage of recording sheets before the printing operation starts.

摘要: A high-strength martensitic stainless steel excellent in corrosion resistance and stress corrosion cracking resistance, the composition of which comprises: 0.1% or less carbon, 1% or less silicon, 2% or less manganese, 8-14% chromium, 1.2-4.5% copper, 0.005-0.2% aluminum, 0.01-0.15% nitrogen, and the balance of iron except incidental elements. The stainless steel can contain nickel, molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, titanium, niobium, etc. under the fixed conditions in addition to the above elements. The heat treatment of the stainless steel comprises: the step of austenitizing at temperatures of 920.degree. C. to 1,000.degree. C., the step of cooling at a cooling rate equal to or higher than the air cooling rate, the step of tempering at temperatures between 580.degree. C. and A.sub.cl point, and the step of cooling at a cooling rate higher than the air cooling rate.

摘要: An automatic glass plate piling apparatus includes a feeding conveyor for conveying a glass plate in the horizontal direction; a turning frame pivoted at an end of the conveyor so as to receive the glass plate transferred from the conveyor and to turn it at a predetermined angle; a transfer frame disposed below the turning frame to receive the glass plate from the turning frame at the time of about the end of the turning operation; and a horizontal transfer conveyor for supporting the lower edge of the glass plate transferred to the transfer frame, whereby the glass plate is transferred from the turning frame to the transfer frame and the horizontal transfer conveyor transfers the glass plate to a pallet by the turning operation of the transfer frame and the forward movement of the horizontal transfer conveyor.
