    摘要: A new family of coherently grown composites of TUN and IMF zeotypes has been synthesized and shown to be effective catalysts in processes for converting at least one aliphatic hydrocarbon having from 1 to about 4 carbon atoms in a feedstream to provide at least one aromatic hydrocarbon. These zeolites are represented by the empirical formula. NanMmk+TtAl1-xExSiyOz where M represents zinc or a metal or metals from Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 or the lanthanide series of the periodic table, T is the organic structure directing agent or agents and E is a framework element such as gallium. The process involves contacting a low carbon number aliphatic hydrocarbon with the coherently grown composite of TUN and IMF zeotypes to produce at least an aromatic.

    摘要: Catalysts, methods of preparing catalyst, and methods for treating exhaust gas streams are described. In one or more embodiments, a catalyst system includes an upstream zone effective to catalyze the conversion of a mixture of NOx and NH3 to N2, and a downstream zone effective for the conversion of ammonia to N2 in the presence or absence of NOx. In an embodiment, a method for preparing a catalyst system includes: first coating one end of a substrate along at least 5% of its length with an undercoat washcoat layer containing a material composition effective to catalyze the removal of ammonia; second coating with an overcoat layer containing a material composition effective to catalyze the conversion of a mixture of NOx and NH3 to N2. A method for treating the exhaust gas stream is provided, which includes injecting ammonia or an ammonia precursor into an exhaust gas stream of a vehicle, passing the engine exhaust gas stream containing NOx and NH3 through the upstream zone of a catalyst system to remove NOx and then passing the exhaust gas stream through the downstream zone of the catalyst system to remove NH3, as well as other oxidizable species such as hydrocarbons and CO.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for conversion of a paraffinic feedstock that has a number of carbon atoms of between 9 and 25, whereby said paraffinic feedstock is produced starting from renewable resources, employing a catalyst that comprises at least one hydrogenating-dehydrogenating metal that is selected from the group that is formed by the metals of group VIB and group VIII of the periodic table, taken by themselves or in a mixture, and a substrate that comprises at least one IZM-2 zeolite and at least one binder, with said process being carried out at a temperature of between 150 and 500° C., at a pressure of between 0.1 MPa and 15 MPa, at an hourly volumetric flow rate of between 0.1 and 10 h−1, and in the presence of a total quantity of hydrogen mixed with the feedstock such that the hydrogen/feedstock ratio is between 70 and 2,000 Nm3/m3 of feedstock.
