摘要: A method of producing a tire having on each sidewall thereof a band or bands of fluorescent colors which will not be detached from the tire body and remain fresh over a prolonged period of time and which are effective in decorating the tire particularly in the nighttime, said method comprising constructing the tire body with an outer rubber layer and an inner rubber layer having a color-developing effect and bonded integrally to said outer rubber layer, grinding each sidewall of the tire body by a grinder to form therein an annular groove or grooves and forming in said annular groove or grooves a laminate of an elastic undercoating layer of transparent anchoring agent and a fluorescent layer containing an ultraviolet ray-absorbing compound or a laminate of said undercoating layer, a fluorescent layer and a transparent top-coating layer containing the ultraviolet ray-absorbing compound.

摘要: A surface decoration structure includes an undercoat film, a silver mirror film layer, and a topcoat film formed on a surface of a substrate. The silver mirror film layer includes a film of stacked nanometer-sized silver particles having surfaces coated with a polymer dispersing agent, and the topcoat film includes, as a solvent, at least one member selected from the group consisting of an aliphatic hydrocarbon compound, an aliphatic hydrocarbon compound solution including 10% by mass or less of an aromatic compound, and diisobutyl ketone. The undercoat film and/or the topcoat film may include a corrosion inhibitor. The silver mirror film layer may further include a corrosion inhibitor. The surface decoration structure includes the silver mirror film layer with improved luster and corrosion resistance.

The face defines a plurality of spokes extending radially outwardly between a central portion of the face and the rim portion and defining a mating portion. An applique is affixed to the wheel at the mating portion. A polymer over-coating that is substantially transparent extends over the applique and the wheel substrate defining a continuous polymer surface over the applique and the wheel substrate.

摘要: A method of creating a design on complex curves and irregular contours of a protective helmet, quickly and without having to first disassemble the helmet. A design is transferred to a clear film/acetate, which is then exposed onto a photoresist mask, transferring the design to the photoresist mask. The mask is washed out creating blast-able areas in the design mask. The mask is adhered to an area of the helmet, which is otherwise covered with a sealed protective bag. Sandblasting/abrasive-blasting etches portions of the helmet surface through the blast-able area of the mask. Various colors or other special effects may be painted/applied onto the etched portions of the helmet surface. The protective bag and photoresist mask can be removed, and the painted areas buffed/polished in a final step.

摘要: A pigment particle for use in artist color media comprises a silica containing core particle having pore channels formed therein, at least one colorant present in the pore channels in at least part of the silica particle, and a nonporous silica layer coated over the pore channels. A method of manufacturing colored particles for use in artist color media comprises providing a core silica particle having pore channels formed therein, loading at least one colorant into the pore channels of the particle, and depositing a silica layer over the pore channels using fluorosilicic acid. Another method of manufacturing colored particles for use in artist color media comprises providing a porous silica particle having pore channels formed therein, and depositing a silica layer over the pore channels using a fluorosilicic acid where a colorant is present in the fluorosilicic acid.

摘要: The present invention relates to a coating method for preventing warpage of a substrate, and more specifically, to a coating method for preventing substrate warpage comprising forming two or more coating layers by coating the surface of a substrate with coating compositions having different densities, wherein at least one layer of the two or more coating layers is coated and cured with a coating composition containing a silsesquioxane composite polymer represented by a specific chemical formula, thereby not only preventing substrate warpage but also providing high surface hardness, excellent transparency, scratch resistance, water repellent characteristics, anti-fouling characteristics, anti-fingerprint property, thermal stability and gloss characteristics to the surface of the substrate.
