摘要: A method of laundering fabric including the steps of: (a) contacting a detergent composition including: (i) detersive surfactant; (ii) phenolic antioxidant (iii) percarbonate; (iv) optionally, a bleach activator capable of forming C1-C11 alkyl substituted peroxycarboxylic acid; and (iv) hueing dye, with water to form a wash liquor including from 60 ppm to 2750 ppm detersive surfactant, from 0.1 ppm to 200 ppm phenolic antioxidant, from 10 ppm to 3000 ppm percarbonate, optionally from 2 ppm to 1000 ppm bleach activator, and from 0.005 to 500 pm hueing dye, and from 0.001 ppm to 10.0 ppm iron, and having a pH in the range of from greater than 7.0 to 12.0; (b) contacting fabric with the wash liquor; and (c) laundering the fabric.

摘要: The invention is a system and method for transforming food waste into a commercial cleaning product. The system is containable in an enclosed facility and installable in urban environments. Food waste is sorted and ground into uniformly sized particles, heated to an acceleration temperature, inoculated with an inoculant including lactic acid bacteria, which is mixed into the ground waste. The waste then undergoes sedentary fermentation for times as short as 24 hours or less. The fermented waste is separated into liquids and solids, and liquids are further separated into at least one distillation stream. Solids are dried to obtain a second distillation stream.

摘要: Liquid peroxycarboxylic acid laundry compositions, namely bleaching and disinfecting compositions combining mixed peroxycarboxylic acids to provide synergistic efficacy are disclosed. Methods of using the liquid peroxycarboxylic acid laundry compositions for low temperatures and a use pH with detergent and water from about 6 to about 10 are also disclosed. Beneficially, the liquid peroxycarboxylic acid laundry compositions and methods of using the same do not include sulfonated peroxycarboxylic acids and sulfonated carboxylic acid, such as peroxy sulfonated oleic acid/sulfonated oleic acid (PSOA/SOA).

摘要: Compositions and methods for cleaning and decontaminating animal carcasses are disclosed. The compositions comprise a mud ball remover having a thioglycolate salt and a base and an antimicrobial agent effective to remove mud balls and reduce microbial contamination of a hide surface at ambient temperatures. The methods comprise cleaning and decontaminating an animal carcass by applying the disclosed compositions onto the surface of the animal carcass to soften and loosen foreign debris attached to the carcass followed by mechanically removing the foreign debris while preserving the integrity and quality of the hide byproduct and resulting leather articles.
