摘要: A sprinkler head of a frame-yoke type is provided. The sprinkler head comprises a disassemblable part including a support, a balance, a movable member and a heat-sensitive body. The sprinkler head also includes elements for preventing dislodgement of the balance from the support. These elements are disposed at a position adjacent where the balance and the support engage with each other. The elements for preventing dislodgement of the balance may include protrusions extending outwardly from each sides of the balance body.

摘要: In the present invention, there is provided an optical disk medium wherein a ROM region having data already recorded therein and capable of only optically reproducing (reading) the data as well as a RAM region capable of optically recording and reading out therein and therefrom are interlacedly located in such a positional relationship that enables the substantially continuous and high-speed accessing operation to the read-only ROM and rewritable RAM data, and some of stationary data to be stored suitably in the ROM region are stored in positional relationship closer to some of additional data to be stored suitably in the RAM region which are especially closely related to the some of the stationary data.

摘要: In an apparatus for tracking an optical disc, speed in acquiring a steady tracking condition is significant. That is, if the light beam is subjected to feedback while it is positioned in a positive feedback region, e.g., in the middle of adjoining tracks, the track servo system causes an oscillation. Therefore, according to the present invention, there is effected a comparison between the magnitude of signals from two pits disposed offset from the track and a pit on the track to determine the position of the light beam so that the tracking error signal may be inversed when the light beam is positioned in the middle of adjoining tracks. This will operate the tracking system in the negative feedback region to more quickly achieve a stable tracking state.

摘要: In a computer system that can configure a virtual machine being able to transit to a hibernation state, data of a main memory of the virtual machine stored in an auxiliary storage device is reduced. At a point in time when the virtual machine has transitioned to a hibernation state, from consideration as to whether the data of the main memory of the virtual machine stored in the auxiliary storage device is unnecessary, data stored in the auxiliary storage device is rewritten in order to reduce the data.
