摘要： A stereoscopic image display apparatus having a low image data input rate, in which the required capacity of a memory is reduced without causing flicker and ghosts. In the invention, right and left parallax image data is compressed, the compressed image data is stored in a frame memory, each of compressed image data for a right eye and compressed image data for a left eye, corresponding to the same display gate line, is read and decoded, line by line, and parallax image data for the right and left eyes for one frame are displayed multiple times, as alternating right and left fields, within one frame period.

摘要： A percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy catheter including a top portion having a conical shape, wherein the conical top portion is hollow and has an opening formed at the top end thereof. The opening has such size that an engaging head formed at a top end of a guide wire passes there through. The inside of the conical hollow top portion is larger than the opening in diameter, and the hollow conical top portion is provided with an engaging piece on the inside thereof, the engaging piece allowing the head of the guide wire, which is inserted through the opening, to pass therethrough and preventing the head from being pulled out.

Contaminant-free ice cubes are adapted to be formed by the thus formed coating layer. As a material of this coating layer, a melt of tin (96.5%) and silver (3.5%) can be suitably used.

摘要： A surface defect inspection apparatus a lighting unit shaped in an arched form laid across the path of movement of an object under inspection for illuminating its surface. A light diffusion sheet is located between the lighting unit and the path of movement of the object for forming a bright and dark light pattern on the surface of the object. A plurality of light sensors are arranged in an arched form laid across the path of movement of the object. Each of the light sensors produces an electrical signal in response to light of reflection from the surface of the object. The electrical signal is converted into an image including the bright and dark light pattern. This conversion is repeated to produce similar images in sequence for inspection of a defect which may exist on the surface of the object.

A state detector detects whether the device is in a playback state or in a stop state. By the action of a switch in accordance with the detected state, when the device is in the playback state, the manually input data is directed to the operation controller and is used for controlling the video signal recording and playback unit and the travel speed controller. When the device is in the stop state, manually input data is directed to the memory timer and stored in the memory timer as the preset data.

摘要： A drive system of a piezo-type actuator for use in a motor vehicle, which piezo-type actuator is constructed with a piezoelectric device which is expandable and contractible in accordance with application of a voltage thereto. The drive system includes a voltage-increasing section for increasing an output voltage of a power source mounted on the motor vehicle so as to develop a drive voltage for the piezo-type actuator and a voltage-application section for applying to the piezoelectric device of the piezo-type actuator the drive voltage. Also included in the drive system is an abnormality detection section which is arranged so as to an abnormality of the drive voltage developed by the voltage-increasing section. A safety controller is responsive to an abnormality signal from the abnormality detection section for prohibiting the application of the drive voltage to the piezoelectric device thereof and further discharging charges accumulated in the piezoelectric device thereof when the abnormality detection section detects the abnormality of the developed drive voltage. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent troubles due to the abnormality of the drive voltage to be applied to the piezoelectric device of the piezo-type actuator.
