    摘要: A converter circuit with short-circuit protection can include a plurality of phase legs having a series connection of normally-on switches, between voltage rails of a DC voltage link, a DC link capacitor, and AC voltage connection points between the normally-on switches. A phase-to-phase short-circuit protection circuit includes a parallel connection of a resistive component and a controllable switch. The phase-to-phase short-circuit protection circuit including a first terminal connected to an AC voltage connection point and a second terminal forms an input or an output of the converter circuit; and a controllable switch is connected in series with the DC link capacitor. Upon lack of control of the normally-on switches the controllable switch of the at least one phase-to-phase short-circuit protection circuit and the controllable switch of the phase leg short-circuit protection circuit are adapted to be controlled to a non-conductive state.

The system includes a first comparator configured to receive a first threshold signal and a first signal and to generate a first comparison signal. The first signal is associated with an input current for a power converter. Additionally, the system includes a second comparator configured to receive a second threshold signal and the first signal and to generate a second comparison signal. The second threshold signal is different from the first threshold signal in magnitude. Moreover, the system includes a first detection component configured to receive at least the second comparison signal, detect the second comparison signal only if one or more predetermined conditions are satisfied, and generate a first detection signal based on at least information associated with the detected second comparison signal.

    摘要: An exemplary protection circuit is provided to provide a controlled, latency-free, steady voltage. The circuit includes a switch module, an induction, a response module, a protection chip, and a sequence controller. The protection chip turns on the switch module when the voltage provided by a capacitor is less than a threshold voltage, thus the connection between the power supply device and the conversion circuit is enabled. The protection chip further outputs a high level signal to the sequence controller upon receiving an induction signal from the induction module. The sequence controller outputs a low level signal to the response module upon receiving the high level signal, to turn off a connection between the first end of the capacitor and ground, otherwise, a high signal is output to turn on the connection between the first end of the capacitor and ground.

Hereby, elements in the circuit device may be prevented from being damaged by the output malfunction. Moreover, the circuit device has a simple structure and is cost effective.

    摘要: A multi-power supply system and a control method thereof are disclosed. The multi-power supply system includes a first power-supply unit, a second power-supply unit, a switching unit, and a control unit. The power-supply unit comprises a reverse current prevention circuit, a converter circuit, and an input circuit. The switching unit is electrically coupled to the first power-supply unit and the second power-supply unit. When the first and second input circuits are in normal operation, the control unit controls the switching unit to be turned off to allow the first power-supply unit and the second power-supply unit to supply power to a load. When one of the first and second input circuits is in abnormal operation, the control unit controls the switching unit to be turned on. The switching unit cooperates with the first and second reverse current prevention circuits to achieve the switching of input.
